A Quality & Effective Phone Cable Protector.
I've been looking for phone charging cable protectors and most are of the soft rubber type that spiral around the cable. They are pretty useless. The very BEST I have found on the UK market is sold by Lapgrippen (a Swedish company). For £9.49 I received very fast delivery from Sweden (only a couple of days) and a pair of cable supports for each end of the cable.
For my use, the more important is protecting the phone end whilst I am sitting. These protectors are just excellent. The black rubber supports slide on with ease and give great support just on their own. The clear plastic simply holds the whole thing in place without any slippage. It's not, as I initially thought a very hard plastic, but is soft enough to prise open and fit into place (slightly tricky for 79 year old fingers,
but I succeeded!). The phone end of the cable protector has a tiny cap to protect it from dust, etc. when not in use.
For under a tenner, a fast delivery and a first-class quality product, and great customer service from Laglappen - thank you!

Repair patch shoe not lasting
I purchased a repair patch of the inside of the Achilles/heel on shoe. I’m not so impressed by the longevity as they start to deteriorate quickly.
