Iinstant finance are a bunch of double dipping rougesot a loan to by a van through…

I got a loan to by a van through instant financein 2023. Of course as I put yhe van up for collateral they insisted that I get full insurance cover.
Sadly I crashed the van the same day i got it but it was insured so i knew my loan would stiil get paid off. The insurance company alledged that Id bought the insurance after the accident and investigated that,for 90 days or so, knowing full well that you cannot drive a car off the lot that you have bought on finance unless it has been fully insured before hand.
While this was happening I continued to make the payments of $115/week ( a large chunk of my income). At the end of the day the insurance payed the entire principle as well as I paid a chunk of the interestsome of the interest.
So Instant finabce siezed the collateral I put ip in the form of yhe insurance pay out. I asked if i could get another vehical and continue the payments Id been making.They said no Id have to reapply for another loan. To my amazment this was declined because according to them I appeared to have suddenly become a gambling addict...how that happened in the space of a couple of months is beyond me. Then to add insult to injury they said that I still had to pay off $7000 in interest. So this unethical and dishonest company took the insurance money and left me with no vehical and a bill for $7000 and I had nothing to show for it. You would thinkbthey would have been happy that they got yheir collateral but wated yo double dip by continuing to charge me az well. This whole thing iscrotten to the core and I cant wait to see instant finace goes broke this year. I give them half a star. They are a bunch of unethical money grubbing bastards with no compassion or inderstanding that life has some grey areas. WANKERS

Instant Finance Mangere Town Centre, absolutely wonderful and friendly staff.
Helped me out when I needed it.
It was a fast process very simple and they help you every step of the way.
I did my process over the phone and the ladies were super friendly.

I've had the worst experience with…

I've had the worst experience with these idiots,! Don't use them for the sake of your soul being damaged!
I was a loyal customer until I missed a payment then they treat you like shit!
They get your hopes up and boom f&&& your hopes in the bum.
Also when you know you can afford the payments.... Bunch of di$_s!

I was declined a loan because……. I was in a bad financial position. Isn’t that’s why people get loans in the first place? Who is your desired customers if your declining people in urgent need? Woman or man (couldn’t tell which) islander on phone was rude. Got hung up on with no respect

Unfriendly, I wouldn't ever use them myself ever!

Useless, first woman hung up on me, and never called me back, 2nd one was a bit more helpful, but far from friendly! > No I didn't want a Loan > I was just checking on a form someone wanted 'me' to sign, to see if it was legit, as I was the Seller!
Less than helpful and very abrupt!!

I overpaid my account.

I overpaid my account.
They say money takes 5 days to clear.
Bank says max 24hours to clear.
I ring 3 times this week, asking for my nearly $1200.00 refund
Yesterday they said refund will be in my account tonight
Still waiting... Not good enough, they've lost me as a customer.
Don't use them - no good when it comes to refunding, in fact it's theft.

Frustrating Experience with Instant Finance - Discrimination and Poor Communication

I recently applied for a loan through Instant Finance, and my experience has been nothing short of appalling and infuriating. I feel compelled to share my concerns as I believe they reflect serious issues within the company's operations, particularly around discrimination and a complete lack of communication.
When I submitted my application, I was assured that the process would be efficient and transparent. Unfortunately, the reality has proven to be starkly different. I was promised that I would receive updates regarding my application status within four hours, but instead, I have faced silence and a complete lack of initiative from the company. As someone who is disabled due to my military service, my income is a direct result of that, and it feels as though Instant Finance is discriminating against me based on where my income comes from. It’s deeply troubling to feel that my financial situation, which is already a result of my hardships, is being dismissed.
This leads me to further concerns about what I perceive as indirect hate crimes being committed against me. The lack of recognition of my income source feels like a biased view, suggesting that my financial contributions are invalid and worthless merely because my information is documented in Australia. This not only adds an additional layer of distress but highlights a desperate need for sensitivity and awareness when it comes to clients with different backgrounds.
Moreover, it is important to point out that under the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003, you are required to communicate with clients and customers in a timely manner regarding their inquiries, complaints, and updates. This includes the acknowledgment of electronic communications sent to your company. So far, you have blatantly breached these conditions, leaving me feeling unheard and diminished.
The repeated need for me to reach out to your customer service has been exhausting and far from what one would expect from a reputable financial institution. Each time I call, I am met with vague answers and a disturbing lack of accountability, as if my application disappeared into a void and no one at Instant Finance is willing to take responsibility.
If you are contemplating applying for a loan with Instant Finance, I strongly urge you to rethink your decision. Not only is their communication abysmal, but the discriminatory practices I have encountered are wholly unacceptable. The assurances I was given during the application process have proven hollow, leaving me feeling disregarded and unvalued.
In conclusion, I implore Instant Finance to re-evaluate their approach to customer service and their understanding of various clients’ circumstances. The way they have treated me as a prospective client is shockingly poor and may discourage others from seeking financial assistance through their services. For those in need of a loan, I recommend exploring other options, as my experience has shown that Instant Finance cannot provide the understanding or support that is necessary for individuals with disabilities or unique financial backgrounds.

Was told to go to jubilee for budgeting…

Was told to go to jubilee for budgeting once I agreed to that the lady put me on hold and came back and said now that I’m attending jubilee they can no longer asses my application as it’s against there lending policy . I would have never agreed to the jubilee if I knew it would alter the process of my application.

Do not ever use Instant Finance

Do not ever use Instant Finance, they charge interest rates of 30% they never stick to their contract or hardship applications, myself and my partner were struggling, we applied for hardship and we were declined!! Told to pay up or they would reposses all our furniture and our car! We only owed 695.00 but were paying our weekly instalment we mentioned we were trying to get the arrears sorted, THEY DID NOT CARE!! Do not use Instant finance like we did we are paying off our loan and have told people within the community to NEVER USE THEM!! Once our loan is paid we cannot wait to see the back of this finance company they are disgusting, not friendly and pray on the people that find it hard to get help anywhere else!!

DUMB process systems now

Have been a customer of theirs for a couple of years for when I'm in need of emergency. Am almost at the end of the loan to be paid. However, one of my bank account I hardly use the eftpos card OR the ATM just transfer. Was declined for no spending or withdrawal activities on that account. NOTHING ELSE. I don't have three months to practice using that card again to show outgoing. So for that I'm just appalled. I guess it's a sign not they don't need customers.
