Safe space to learn.

The environment is truly a safe space to learn. The teachers really care and show it. My son feels safe to not only learn, but to grow emotionally, academically, and socially.

My son is borderline autistic. He is high functioning, kind and intelligent. However, the anxiety in a regular school environment started to be too much around 7-8th grade. We have tried private school (regular type), public school with special accommodations in the following years...It was always a juggle between academics and social activities. He tried very hard and became tense and stressful. It was in the middle of 10th grade when his grades completely tanked when we decided to give Fusion Academy a try. It beat our expectation. My son was invited as an equal part to the conversations regarding his study plan instead of feeling being overpowered by authority. He starts to genuinely and actively participate in school activities without appearing overwhelmed, and his grades have largely improved and consistently reached A-level for two semesters so far. We look forward to the next academic year and graduate high school at Fusion. For families that you know your kids have potential but somehow struggling, have a conversation with Fusion. Tiffany at Fusion long island is very easy to work with and she quickly gets to the point.

What made my experience great was that my daughter felt helped. She felt like she was understanding things. That, is priceless.

My son really enjoy his experience with Fusion. He find a best fit for himself. Wish he continue flouring with Fusion Academy.

Amazing staff, warm inclusive environment, attentive teachers

My daughter has had an excellent experience here at Fusion Academy Long Island. The teachers have been more than helpful, altering her lessons to her needs and promoting academic excellence. The other students are also very friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend Fusion Academy to any parent who wants their child to be successful, both academically and socially, and to any student who wants to feel comfortable, confident, and not afraid to learn. A+ Excellent.

My son thoroughly enjoys the tutoring classes of Animation and Music Theory lessons at Fusion. He has incorporated those lessons into his guitar lessons and practicing on Blender at home. Would highly recommend!

It also allows the social interaction to bridge the homeschool learning and social interations.

The school is beautiful and the administration is extremely compassionate and dedicated to their students. Fusion is an important referral service for families who come to our psychology practice and who need an alternative schooling environment for their student. Students work one-to-one but also have the opportunity to socialize in a highly supportive environment.

Fusion is there for us when we need them the most. Tiffany, Anthony, and all the teachers at Fusion are amazing. They are eager to help each student understand challenging subjects, push the boundaries of knowledge, discover their potential, and celebrate achievements big and small.

We had transferred our daughter to Fusion Academy from public school because she was struggling in a large classroom environment due to ADHD. The traditional classroom setting was overwhelming for her, and she was getting lost in the crowd. At Fusion, she thrived. The teachers and staff provided an exceptional experience, giving her the individual attention and customized learning approach she needed.

Fusion Academy personalizes teaching to each child, understanding how they absorb information best, and teaching at the student's pace until they master the topic. This approach not only caught our daughter up academically but also gave her the confidence to understand that she is smart and just needed different tools to learn. It also taught her how to advocate for herself.

Our daughter's academic growth and positive attitude towards learning are measurable thanks to Fusion. We are incredibly grateful for the support and dedication of the Fusion team.

I am a parent of a student who recently graduated this year (2024) from Fusion Academy Long Island in Woodbury. I can not express enough what a great atmosphere this school was for my daughter. The teachers were excellent and were able to be flexible over the years with her schedule, as this is not a school that’s simply open from 8-3 but offer afternoon and evening classes for those who need it as well. The Head of School, Tiffany, has always been kind, caring and the ultimate professional. She interviews the students upon entrance, and keeps a good relationships with all the students over their years there. My daughter, finished her 4 year High school education, within 3 years, and received acceptance letters from her choice colleges and universities by the age of 15 years old! I know it was all the help she received from her educators, their college guidance team sessions, along with her diligence and hard work that helped her to achieve the accomplishments she has. She’s excited to be entering her new level of education, but we will surely miss the time she had there with educators who constantly showed they truly cared, advocated and that offered individualized support for her. They definitely built upon her strengths, which increased her self esteem and ability to eventually advocate for herself, which is much needed for her next level of life, work and educational experiences.

Our son loves being treated like an adult and not being the bad kid anymore. He finally enjoys school, and is learning so much, is excited and is getting straight A’s

fusion academy changed my son from a failing student to a child who comes home and enjoys TEACHING ME what he has learned that day. I am learning everyday as well! My son actually said he wished he had started there the year prior.Not only are the teachers encouraging and supportive but the level of education they provide is higher than most high schools my other children have attended. Their attention to detail while individualizing their method of learning and sharing information surpasses classroom setting by far. The teachers listen to students and focus on the lesson to being interactive versus lecture. They daily summaries they provide are very useful and helpful to keep parents up to date especially when kids can't explain themselves properly.

Fusion is great for my child academically. It is one to one so he is able to get instruction at his level. The teachers are also great. My one issue is that the environment is not social enough. The students are together during HW cafe, but many of them just sit on their phones. They are together but alone and I don't think that the teachers do a good enough job in facilitating friendships.

High academic standards in a nurturing, 1-1 teaching environment. Just what our son needed. Flexible scheduling and course offerings are a definite plus.

The staff at Fusion are well educated and compassionate to serve the needs of each child

My son was struggling with certain issues that required me to research alternative academic options. When I came across Fusion Academy of Long Island, and read all about their mission and goals, I was certain this was the right choice for my son. But leaving the decision to him after having been offered a tour of the campus, and to sit in in a couple of classes, sealed the deal. He was immediately excited to attend, and his natural intelligence and motivation returned practically overnight. He was welcomed with open arms and minds by students and staff alike, and he felt he had found his new educational home. His grades returned to their usual high level, as did his spirits and self-esteem. Best decision we've ever made for our child.
