Excellent Service from start to finish
Both my husband & I were looking for a replacement Vi-Spring bed & we met Ben. He definitely knew the products, we were guided through all of the various options. He was so helpful & made the whole process seamless. If you need a new bed just visit the Plymouth branch & ask for Ben.

Great service and quality sofas.
We were looking at getting 2 new sofas.We were met by Don Johnson,really helpful and a no pressure at all.
We were made aware of special offers and sale items.
Decided to purchase 2 G plan sofas.

After my chaise sofa was too large to…
After my chaise sofa was too large to go through my hallway, Don came to my flat on the day, and was so helpful. They couldn't do enough when I went back to the store. I had the option of full refund, choose another suite, they also offered to have the large chaise sofa to be dismantled and rebuilt in my front room, or I could have my window taken out. It's rare to have such support and options given. Ben and Kevin were fantastic, which made a stressful situation more bareable. I had my window taken out, and Don (on his day off) came to my flat to help the removal guys to ensure the delivery went smoothly. Ben remained in communication with me from the initial delivery date, to the re delivery date. I can't thank furniture world staff enough, fabulous customer service, 5 ⭐

I contacted the store today with a concern about the transformer on my Celebrity riser recliner chair. A extremely helpful and knowledgeable guy called Ben listened intently to my concerns and even asked me to remove the batteries from the transformer to check that the chair was working OK and I felt happy with his advice. I'm a 67 year old pensioner and it's a credit that you have such good staff.
Well done to Janine who sold me the chair in the first place and Ben who helped me today

Sofa with Modular pieces
Bought a Modular sofa that I could not sort out online.
Don Johnson at the Plymouth branch sorted it out in a matter of minutes with the right pieces right colour and the correct firmness. Excellent service at this branch I would deal with them again.

Went to look at mattresses at Plymouth Furniture world and was greeted politely by a salesman called George we explained what we were looking for and he went through the range with us. He left us alone to discuss between my wife and i but was helpful when we needed to ask some questions to help decide what we needed. He explained the delivery time and we bought a mattress. Thankyou George for all your help. Bought furniture from here before xmas and was given good service then as well.

Outstanding delivery drivers
I would like to say a big thankyou to the two young delivery drivers who delivered my 3 piece suite today, unfortunately I didn't get their names. Their professional skills and customer service was outstanding ensuring everything arrived in pristine condition. They were very respectful of my property even removing their shoes as I had newly fitted carpet and taking extra care of woodwork and walls. This wasn't the easiest of entrances especially carrying heavy furniture up steps and the horrendous weather conditions which added to this. A few days before two different delivery guys removed my old furniture with care and again brilliant service.
My whole customer experience of Furniture World from purchasing with Don at the Plymouth branch to delivery has been excellent. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you 😊

New bed purchase
We purchased a bed 18/12/24 and initially was being dealt with by George who was a new employee.
We then had Ben join us to support his colleague.
I happy to say what a really enjoyable experience we had during this sale both guys where great and Bens knowledge of the product was second to none..

No predatory sales people in here.....
Having being pounced on be predatory sales people at several other furniture stores nearby, it was great to go in to be met politely and offered assistance if we needed it. Kevin answered all our questions about the furniture we were looking for. He was knowledgeable, polite and really helpful. We were so impressed we went back to buy some more furniture - completely bypassing the other stores. Again, Kevin helped us and we have ordered a new suite to go with the other furniture we bought. A special mention also to the gentleman (sorry - can't remember his name) who sold us a mattress. Again, he was knowledgeable, helpful and polite.

Excellent service
We visited the Plympton store to buy a bed and Ben was really helpful and answered all our questions. He kept us informed about our delivery date. The two delivery drivers were polite and respectful. They fixed our new bed and headboard together and took away all the packaging. Excellent service from start to finish. Would recommend this store.
