The vehicle had no navigation system
The vehicle had no navigation system. The vehicle had no extractor hood. No oven. Only a microwave. The fridge-freezer only ran on electricity and therefore consumed too much power, so we always had to stay at campsites with electricity. That's expensive and not what we like. As soon as we didn't do that, the battery would flash. All in all, we had to constantly attend to the vehicle to avoid any problems. Our vacation suffered because of it. We also had to buy a sleeping bag because the nights were sometimes quite cold and there weren't enough blankets. We could list a few more things that weren't okay. I think Canadream needs to make more of an effort to satisfy its customers. It also costs a lot of money. We won't book with Canadream again.

As the RV industry continues to evolve, many manufacturers are moving away from propane-fueled appliances (such as the gas oven and refrigerator) to enhance safety and sustainability. While we understand this change may be disappointing, these features are no longer available to us as manufacturer options as we work to keep our fleet current.
Our RVs are equipped with fridge/freezers that operate on a 12V battery, which recharges while driving, using the generator, or when connected to shore power. The convection microwave works when plugged into an external power source or when the generator is running. While our vehicles also include solar panels, they provide a limited charge and are not sufficient to fully recharge the coach battery. For Guests planning to camp off-grid, we recommend fully recharging the battery every 2–3 days.
We understand how important off-grid camping can be, and we’re sorry that the need to recharge the battery more frequently impacted your plans. We also see that you visited an RV dealership whilst on the road and they found no fault with the battery, however we appreciate you taking the time to have it checked.
Regarding bedding, we provide duvets and blankets that are generally sufficient for most Guests. However, if additional warmth is needed, we’re always happy to reimburse the cost of extra blankets purchased—just provide your receipt at drop-off.

Starting from reservation - Brettany, to pick-up, Thiago. Their help made the whole process seamless. The staff at pick-up were very friendly which made the start of our trip extremely positive. The training video was informative and clear so that a newbie could easily understand.

Excellent communication pre and during the rental. Good resources - video, booklet etc, good itinerary suggestions on website.
Pick up we had a two hour wait because of short staffing. Not an ideal start. Several small issues with stiff/missing outdoor thatched and a collapsed kitchen drawer. Staff were very open to our feedback about this on drop off

My friends and I really enjoyed our RV trip through Cape Breton! The RC was easy to use, super clear instructions and training. The team in Halifax was AMAZING and did all they could to help us strat and end our journey really well!
The RV was well maintained and comfortable and had all the items we expected.
I wouldn’t hesitate to do this again 😊

I didn't get the unit I reserved and paid for.
I didn't get the unit I reserved despite booking and paying in full many months in advance. There was a communication disconnect between pick up and drop off staff that led to drop off staff accusing me of lying. Canadream's response to this review was poor and dismissive of my review. I would not choose Canadream again as they have shown they do not take customer feedback seriously. Not to be trusted with my hard earned money again.

Clear information
Clear information, friendly staff. The rv we had reserved was not available anymore. Therefore we received an upgrade and a refund. I think a good solution after all.
Please note pick up time always takes you longer as expected. Would definitely book again!

The RV was clean and comfortable
The RV was clean and comfortable. The dishes were glass and very noisy when we travelled.Plastic would be better. The cab was a little tight for the legs and feet. The explanation by the staff was clear and helpfull. The staff were very nice.

We really had a great trip with our…Class C RV
We really had a great trip with our Class C RV. My only quirk is that a person renting a camper & the sheet sets for a week gets clean sheets and we rented for 3 weeks and still only got 1 set of sheets. You have to consider renting the rv like a hotel where clean sheets are at least provided weekly. The same goes for the bathroom sani pacs. You only provide 5 pacs for 3 weeks. So had to find laundry machines and hardware store for sani pac supplies. RVs also needs a small garbage can. Would also be very nice if they had a small barbeque so we can cook outside. Otherwise all other info was straightforward and a great way to travel.

Our family's first rv road trip. Picked up Halifax and dropped off Toronto Everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. Good clean modern rv and easy to drive. Family had a great 7 days on the road exploring and camping.

Fast, efficient Check In and orientation!
Tiago at the Halifax location checked me in, reviewed the operations of the Unit (sleeps 6), and perfomed a detailed inspection prior to the 3 weeks of travel @ PEI.
The RV was spotless, & included a TV we were able to connect to our Netflix account. (Kiddos enjoyed an evening movie when the down pours finally arrived). Greenwich, Red Point, & Marco Polo Land are Parks that were a big hit, both with the 2 kids & 3 adults.
The RV had lots of power, handled easily, and had lots of storage for camp chairs, Hibachi, extra footwear, etc. Of special note was a smooth operating generator, for remote beaches where we overnighted without any utilities/power for CPAP.
