Bad customer service.

Terrible company. Booked a 3 night trip to Amsterdam and paid full amount immediately. The evening before our flight I happened to check our boarding passes with the airline, online only to discover the flight had been cancelled. We had no communication from lastminute.com about this! The airline told us to speak to lastminute.com...big mistake!
Lastminute.com refused to help us...effectively told us it was our problem. Spoke to many customer service people who also refused to help. Finally escalated to a manager. Lastminute.com attitude was that we need to take it up with the airline. Absolutely no understanding of the situation we were in. We ended up losing a day of our holiday and flying from a completely different airport at an extra cost to us.. Also, because it was the weekend there was no immediate help available ...promised call backs never happened.
