I rung for a valuation on my property. I spoke to one lady informed her it was rented and tenants are vacating the property so it would be sold as vacant possession. She booked appointment for valuation.
One day before the visit, received a call from another employee asking me to confirm appointment and I would be there. She then asked if premises had tenants. I confirmed house has tenants, I would be there on day of valuation and property will be sold as vacant possession.
On day of the valuation, I received a call and lady asked me if house had tenants, I informed her it has and  tenants would be moving out as they have somewhere to move to.
She said, company do not do valuations if tenants are living in the premises. I told her I'd already spoken to, two of her colleagues and informed them, tenants were there and they booked the valuation.
Explained I found it confusing why valuation was booked and why it was never mentioned company does not  do valuations if tenants are living there.
I got the  "they should have told you, then the apologies  blah blah blah."
I would understand it if one colleague by mistake did not inform me about the tenant issue but for two colleagues to not tell me borders on incompetence.
She told me to ring back and re-book once tenants have gone.
5 days later I rung and informed lady on phone, tenants had moved out I'm looking to re-book appointment for valuation.
She booked appointment then queried as to how i manage to get tenants out so quickly.
I explained tenants had a place to go to and they simply moved out bit sooner after I explained to them that estate agents will not do valuation with sitting tenants.
I informed her my son has moved into the house. 
( I did not want to property empty for obvious reasons)
She then told me that she does not think it's a good idea for them to do valuation or to sell the house as the "customer relationship" has broken down is not good due to the issues we've had so far.
I tried to explain to her issues were not of my doing and that it should be me complaining about the "customer relationship" and not the other way round as I gave all the information that was requested.
Impression I got was that she wanted me to listen and not reply back.
When I did try to say something back, the lady said she's terminating the call and put phone down.
The "customer relationship" is definitely broken down now.
It was an unbelievable experience and a unprofessional way to run a business. Very disappointed with the service and attitude.
A zero minus rating would have been appropriate if it was available.

We were well impressed with the professionalism from house photos to completion. Both Chloe Redhead and Emily were very helpful, and Chloe in particular kept us informed at every stage, chasing up people where necessary to keep everything moving along. We would have no hesitation in using Manning Stainton again.

Really good experience with Manning Stainton. Lauren was very helpful throughout the process and kept me up-to-date as well as chasing up with various solicitors, as were the people who filled in for her when she was away. The only slight negative is if I used them again, I probably wouldn't go with the solicitors they recommended, who weren't terrible but weren't great either. The bag of useful moving-in things when I collected keys were a nice touch.
