Super efficient, professional and courteous

Fantastic service from DBM! Excellent communication in advance of move. The guys were incredibly dedicated and went above and beyond to make our move as smooth as possible. They carefully packed and wrapped all our belongings, even a whole watermelon! 😂 They handled everything with care, helped move things around, and even fitted in an extra bed. Friendly, professional and hardworking — nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

These guys were serious pros. I used them to move home after a close friend recommended them. It was a pack and move job. Had a clear and thorough video call with them, they gave me a competitive fixed price quote - transparent and no nonsense or upselling/addons. Emails prior to move clearly explaining the process. And the guys that turned up were flawless in execution; efficient, methodical, thorough, no mistakes, no breakages, no problems, boxes conveniently placed and labelled in the new flat. My girlfriend and I were moving from a flat in West London to one in East London. Had nothing packed beforehand. They came and were completely finished in 5 hours. Took all the stress away.

DBM Removals made our house move over 2 days so much less stressful than it otherwise could have been. From the moment the team arrived, their professional and polite demeanor put us at ease during what could have easily been a chaotic process.
They were exceptionally hard working, maintaining relentless energy and focus across both days. DBM Express Movers were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I wasn't quite ready when they arrived, not a problem they just packed what they could. Fast efficient and extremely careful with all my breakables. Honestly I cannot praise them enough. You will not go wrong with this company 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This was my first time using a packing service with movers, and we were very disappointed after reading reviews about it being an easy, stress free experience.

Initial quote and interactions ahead of the move were all easy and positive. We had paid extra for packing the day before the move, and that went smoothly - a team of 3 arrived as promised, and packed quickly and efficiently. They stayed 2 hours and packed a lot of, but not all, our belongings.

They returned the next day around 8am, this time with only 2 people rather than the 3 person team they had insisted was needed. They loaded the van, but did very little additional packing and seemed surprised every time we pointed out something that hadn't been packed. We had to check all cupboards and rooms and kept finding items that they had left unpacked - including a bed slat, lampshades, plastic storage drawers. Each time they would get a new cardboard box, and loosely pack a couple of items, still leaving other things dotted around the flat. From about 11am they started telling us that they couldn't fit any more in the van, but were reluctant to call the office to discuss what to do about this. They would then spend some time rearranging the van, and fit in another box, then tell us again it couldn't fit. This made the whole morning much more stressful than it should have been - and in the end was unecessary as they did fit everything in the van. It also wouldn't have been necessary if they'd packed more efficiently in the first place, and looked around the flat to see what else still needed packing. After they'd unloaded our belongings at our destination, I saw that the van had 2 whole stacks of unused packing crates which they could have used instead of cardboard boxes, which would have made more space in the van. So that aspect alone was more stressful than necessary.
Then, just after the van set off from our house, I received a text telling me that it had arrived at the destination and they would charge me a waiting fee. At this point we hadn't even locked the door they'd just left! I had to go back and forth with the office to argue this as I made my way to the estate agent to get the keys, and after initially insisting that they had already been waiting at the new address, they admitted that the van hadn't yet reached the destination. Again, this made what should have been a smooth experience much more stressful.
On arrival at the destination, the team stayed in the van while my partner waited at the house for me to come with the keys. They were there maybe 15 minutes, and only when I arrived with the keys did they tell me I had to knock on neighbours doors to ask someone to move a car to make a parking space directly outside the house bigger. They had at no point asked my partner to do this, and they knew she was there as she had specifically greeted them. They also had not considered doing this themselves. On asking me this, while we were speaking, rather than discuss with me, they then called their office and got the office to call me about it. Then, while I was knocking on doors, they then asked me to pay the remaining fee, again not speaking to my partner about this, and seemingly no longer wanting me to do the thing they'd just asked me to do. Again, this made what should have been a smooth experience stressful.
In addition, quality of packing was variable. Kitchen crockery was neatly packed and securely wrapped, but other household goods were thrown willy-nilly into the boxes, and we did have a broken glass. They also refused to dismantle 2 sit-stand desks, and also refused to carry them safely by the legs rather than the wooden top (as the legs are much heavier than a normal desk), despite being asked repeatedly.
We had also chosen this company because they use reusable plastic crates instead of cardboard boxes that get thrown away, but it turned out that they used both. This is a minor thing but given that the service and experience overall was poor, I make the point so that others don't choose them just for the environmental friendliness.

On the positive side, the 2 people on moving day did work hard in hot weather and overall got things done in time, just behaved in such a way as to make the whole thing much more stressful.
