I believe you spoke with one of my colleagues on the phone this morning, and they have explained how to return the item, as unfortunately the item ordered was not the one you required.
I’m sorry that you had difficulty getting through to us. If our team are already on the phone or assisting customers at our display site, our phone system may advise that we are busy. However, you should still be able to leave us a voicemail, or alternatively contact us by email. We always respond to messages and emails as soon as we can.
I’m pleased that you have now been able to speak with a member of the team and that we have been able to explain the returns process so that you can send the item back to us.
As the issue has now been resolved, and we have done our best to assist with the return of an item that was unfortunately ordered incorrectly, we would really appreciate it if you would consider updating your review and star rating to reflect your overall experience with Wicken Toys.
We work extremely hard to provide a high level of service to our customers, so a one-star review can have quite an impact on a small family business.

Damaged wood on swing should have been replaced no question!
I purchased a TP Everest Triple Swing from Wicken Toys and when it eventually arrived, one piece of wood was badly split, not their fault as wood does split naturally. Unfortunately I only have them 4 stars as the amount of emails and photos I had to send to get a replacement meant that I couldn’t have the equipment built in time for when my grandchildren came to visit and they won’t now be here until the end of October. I am really disappointed in the length of time it took to get a replacement and the constant back and forth to even get sent the piece of wood was so unnecessary as it was obviously damaged and not fit for a child’s swing.

We're sorry that one of the wooden components arrived with a split and that this meant your grandchildren were unable to enjoy their new swing during their visit.
We do, however, feel it is worth clarifying that once we received the additional photographs on 3rd September, we forwarded these to TP Toys that same afternoon. TP confirmed the following morning, 4th September, that your replacement part had been identified and processed.
The additional request for the batch number was simply to help TP investigate the issue and was not holding up your replacement, as we explained in our subsequent email.
We appreciate that having to provide additional photographs can be frustrating, but these are sometimes required by manufacturers to ensure the correct replacement part is supplied.
We always aim to resolve any problems as quickly as possible and feel that, in this instance, both ourselves and TP acted promptly once the necessary information had been received.
Thank you again for your order. We hope your grandchildren have a wonderful time enjoying their new swing when they next visit.

Great showroom and fantastic service.
The showroom was brilliant. What most retailers lack is the ability to actually see and test the climbing frame you're buying. You don't know how sturdy a climbing frame is unless you can give it a wobble. They were very welcoming and we were encouraged to try as many frames as we wanted.
We bought the 'Plum Barbary Wooden Playcentre Swing and Slide'. We love it and more importantly so does our son. It's marked as 3+ but our son was only a year when we bought it as he's a natural climber. It's fine with supervision and it'll last many years as he grows up.
If buying for a very little one, you'll also want to buy the swing specifically for babies.
The only downside we've found and we were warned about it, is the fabric roof. The first rain will pool in it and you'll be left with a dark stain. This doesn't bother us though.
Lastly, the delivery driver was great. Arrived in the evening so it'd been a long day for him but he was still more than happy to help carry it through to the back garden.
Overall a very pleasant experience.

We visited Wicken toys multiple times to choose our garden equipment, each time the staff at wicken Toys were always so friendly and helpful, they weren't pushy at all and genuinely wanted to help us find the right equipment for our family. Ordering was easy and having the option of them delivering and putting it together was amazing. I'd thoroughly recommend Wicken Toys, thank you!

Fantastic staff
Fantastic staff. Ordered a Buzzy Nitro for my nephew and a helmet separately over the weekend. The staff refunded me a portion of the cost, as I would have received a discount ordering together, as well as the additional delivery fee. How's that for customer service!

I am very pleased with the plum single wooden swing set. It is very sturdy once built and looks good in a garden. I would recommend Wicken Toys to anyone buying wooden garden play equipment. The swing should last for years. The in house delivery is also a great service.
