I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Verbatim, and specifically the person I dealt with most, Scott Simpson.

From our first interaction, what impressed me most about Scott was his ability to set a collaborative tone for our conversations. He wanted to hear about my career goals and interests to ascertain if the opportunity he was contacting me about would even be a good fit for what I'd want to be doing- as a good recruiter he's keenly aware that things won't work if he has to talk someone into a role they're not genuinely excited about.

As we moved through the process, Scott was highly responsive as well as proactive, checking in after every conversation and sharing as much feedback as he received.

My particular engagement was international, so Scott was bridging multiple countries with distinct cultural norms. He navigated those seemingly with ease, and helped me with some understanding of mannerisms or behaviors from the hiring team that may have been different than my own, so that I would be as prepared as possible.

Ultimately I was offered a role and accepted the offer. Following that, Scott has continued to remain in touch periodically and keep the communication open. As a result of his openness, when I have had others in my network that are seeking new opportunities, I've been all too eager to connect them with Scott, thereby resulting in his own network growing.
