I've been in touch with the API support…
I've been in touch with the API support team for a while now due to multiple issues. There have been increasing lags and failed responses from the service. While the support team does respond, replies are slow, and they’ve acknowledged problems on their side but haven’t provided a clear timeline for resolution. This makes it difficult to rely on the API for consistent use.

Don’t waste your money!
I paid $33.99 for credits on VanceAI to restore an old family photo. The AI distorted faces, garbled text, and added weird artifacts. I immediately asked for a refund, but customer support was evasive and unhelpful. Their policy is intentionally vague, and they refuse to refund despite admitting results vary. Don’t waste your money — this tool is not suitable for historic or document-based photos. Awful customer service.

vance.ai is terrible.
the batch processing often doesn't work and when it does the results are appalling. The cartoon function is an absolute joke. They say customer service gets back to you withing 24 hours but it took 3 days. If you can't respond withing 24 hours, that's ok, but then don't say you will. I hate liars. The response was even worse, didn't even bother to check the problem, just denial and blaming me.

VanceAI did a pretty good job restoring an old photo (as a test). Had a problem with the desktop version but the online one worked fine. It was easy to navigate.

VanceAI is a scam.
I thought I signed up for a $4.95/month 7-day trial with VanceAI. They took $59.40 from my Paypal account and merely sharpened my photo (making it look worse). I cancelled the same day. They would not refund my money, telling me they were only cancelling my annual renewal. Paypal gave me a refund but VanceAI is now billing my personal bank account. I am trying to resolve with Paypal today, how VanceAI was given access to my bank account, since I made the payment through Paypal.
