The signal in Japan is frequently…
The signal in Japan is frequently dropped and unreliable, taking several minutes to recover. Also, although my phone is in Japan, Google often identifies me as being in Singapore, which is clearly a signal mislocation. Finally, this eSIM is quite expensive!

The Singapore location is a known IP routing quirk with some eSIM configurations: your data is served locally in Japan, but the IP can appear to originate elsewhere. It doesn't affect your connection, though we understand it's unsettling to see.
Regarding pricing: we're in line with all major international eSIM providers. A local SIM is always the cheaper option — though buying one upfront means you're connected the moment you land, without hunting for a SIM card at the airport.

During my recent trip to Thailand
During my recent trip to Thailand, I used an eSIM from TravelSimAsia, and it made my travel experience so much easier.
