It is really good platform

This website is so lacking in user functionality and is basic beyond belief for 2026. What is the £39 for? Probably into the pockets of selfish tech bros that have found a clever way to use SEO to get to the top of the Google search. Save your money and go with other trusted tutor sites, this one is a rip off! I feel sorry for the tutors too - they have to give a free first lesson! So basically, parents are paying £39 direct to the tech bros of Superprof and tutors are forced to give away their time for free. Wish I had done my research first.

Superprof is a great and flexible learning platform that connects learners to well experienced tutors, very nice customer service and affordable rates.

They do classic bait and switch. They provide a selection of profs, including local ones. You set a “free” first lesson, but they immediately charge you $49 fee for using the platform. Then they cancel the lesson and say the prof was removed and demand you accept a different teacher that they choose, not you. When you ask for a refund they hang up and they do not respond to email requests for a refund. Save yourself the time and aggravation and skip this platform.

They show a bunch of ads just to make you spend 29 Euros to have the hability to message the persons behind the ads. Which I did, and all of them refused. So basically I've paid to get NOTHING. And they say you will only be charged AFTER you're accepted by a teacher, so, besides being a lie, it's a scam. Do not use it, beware!

I love Superprof as quite a few clients find me here and some stay long time. It’s also a very easy platform to set up trials and sell or buy blocks of hours. Highly recommended.

Had an extremely unpleasant experience with their almost non-existent human customer service. Stay away from them and don't pay them to contact the tutors. They take the money at a recurring basis. There are far better and cheaper options elsewhere.

I've been on Superprof for many years, and I can definitely recommend this platform to teachers, students, and parents! You can find great professionals here, arrange classes and choose your best tutor! Once you try Superprod you will not want to use any other platform! Highly recommend it!

Superprof connected me with someone who was, in my opinion, an intermediate player. We negotiated a location and met. He explained where he believed he needed improvement, so I kept that in mind while we played an instructional game. Afterward, I asked him to confirm that he felt his time was well invested. I was very happy that he felt it was!

Be warned, this is a subscription service. I got charged £39 just because a tutor contacted me, not because they could fulfil my lesson request. When I looked at my Superprof account I could see it was a subscription payment recurring every month. There was no warning. I gave two stars as my issue got resolved with a refund, but I think their methods are underhanded.

Terrible. Full of fake profiles with people asking for money up front.

I alerted Superprof of a fake profile of someone who was asking for money upfront. They removed it and apologised.

A couple of days later, another fake profile tried exactly the same. So I alerted Superprof and they removed that profile, then deleted my subscription and give me my money back 🤷🏽.

I really enjoy using Superprof as a tutor because it helps me connect with many students.
It is easy to use, well organized, and simple to manage.
I’m proud to have become one of the highest-reviewed chemistry tutors on the platform.

Its easy to navigate the Dashboard. Its great getting message communications from students, when they have questions.
Its very stable & doesn't glitch or freeze, very often.
