Student Hut Reviews 2

I was trying to find information on some UK Universities, as I am looking for one for a course I want to do and happened upon the Student Hut, A pop up appeared and asked me to create an account, thinking it was just my name and email it wanted, so I entered them only to be faced with another page of questions, including nationality, date of birth and many more intrusive questions, so I backed out of it again, why would such a site want all of my details, date of birth, nationality, where I graduated, where I studied, highest level of education, am I the first person in my family to attend university, bearing in mind I was just on a fact finding mission to find a suitable university. My opinion is that this site is a big data collector so user beware. I also received an email from them saying based on the info I provided (which was nothing) I did not qualify to join, What a joke, any potential students beware of this site, it is not what it seems !

Don't bother doing the surveys. Surveys promised to give you points to obtain a voucher once you reach 2500, but you can't even claim it via SMS as said on the website.

Tried contacting them to resolve the issue considering it's been nearly a year since I started doing these surveys and received no response. Phone call from a member of staff reassured to resolve it and get back to me but never did. Waste of time and energy.

Edit - got the voucher in the end on Dec 5th. But it took little less than 2 months to resolve due to slow response.
