Came across HMG whilst looking for exterior wood paint to match existing doors on the house (Chartwell Green). Impressed that Chartwell Green was a standard colour but also by the range of colours and colour matching available across their paint range.
Pricing was competitive with reasonable P&P charges and delivery timescales. Ordering was simple with good follow-up emails confirming order, receipt and dispatch and delivery was spot on.
Not used HMG paint before but I was impressed with ease of application and cover, particularly the second coat which did not exhibit any adhesion issues (unlike some other well know brands I have previously used).
All in all, one very happy customer. Time and weather will ultimately prove how good the paint is; but, my first impressions of Company and product are very positive and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Beautiful colour, fast delivery.

I managed to find the product I wanted fairly easily, read all the recommendations, purchased and it was delivered in a reasonable time. All very easy and good prices.

I'd ordered 2 pots of a specific paint in March but found I was short so ordered a third in November and it was so easy to find what I needed. It was delivered quickly too so very pleased. The paint went on easily and looks great.

Searched everywhere for garden paint as we’ve had a new front and garage door and the grey fence panels no longer cutting it. Needed chartwell green and the closest I could get at B&Q or Wickes just wasn’t good enough. Found HMG paints online and to my amazement they did chartwell green. Ordered 4 x 2.5litres. In two coats it has covered the 6 fence panels beautifully and I’m only on the second tub. Great service, fast delivery and the product quality is phenomenal. Thank you!

A fat better product than before. The plastic container is far better than the previous metal one. Before the paint was thick and filled to the top unable to mix to the correct viscosity. Now the tubs are fantastic and the satin is at the correct viscosity no need to add water or a flow additive. As for flow it goes on like warm butter on a hot crumpet,
leaving no brush marks. The overall finish is great too not too shiny like some other brands just a right balance. My only negative is the opacity could be slightly improved.

All the staff are amazingly helpful and go above and beyond to offer the best service ever. We can’t praise HMG Paints Ltd enough and thank them wholeheartedly for excellent service, a great product and their kindness.

Love the paint sample process that meant I was sure the paint was the correct shade. Paint is good and a reasonable price. Delivery was quick and within the delivery window suggested. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only issue was the website took a lot of navigating due to system problems but after a couple messages the problem was resolved. Well done HMG 👍

The paint colour is fantastic, so much so I made a repeat order. Unfortunately the courier firm had played football with the package! It had leaked everywhere. HMG were great and got it replaced after a few days.
