Avoid this company

Avoid this company. Unscrupulous.
I called the company and was told someone would be with me within the hour. I was told I had to pay £120 deposit because the total callout charge and tyre cost over £400.
After waiting almost 2 hours and with no sign of the fitter, I rang the company and there was no answer. Shortly afterwards, the fitter rang to say he had a problem with his van and told me it was now too late because he was over an hour away so he would be with me the next morning.
This was unacceptable, so I told the company that they didn't honour their promise of being there the same day. I cancelled the callout but they refused to refund the £120.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!!!

Requested a tyre repair quote online "we will call you in a few minutes" ... 3 hours later I get a call from a very presumptuous lady advising it would be £300+ for a new tyre and before I could say anything she continues with the "we can have someone with you in the next 45-60min" - other reviews on this part speak for themselves.

Told her it was a repair it was after and she advised "that would be £190" (im laughing out loud at this point) "but if the fitter cant repair it they will have a spare tyre on the van for you" (yeah i bet he will) "so I just need a £110 deposit from you now to book the job in"

Absolutely disgraceful pricing! I can get a new tyre for less than the repair price!

Lady was very sure of herself that I'd be going ahead - must think im stupid!

Will be taking the wheel off and taking it somewhere local!

Called and paid £110 deposit to get…

Called and paid £110 deposit to get someone out. I was told it wpuld be 45 mins to one hour. 90 mins later I called to find out what was happening to be told no fitter available and I would be issued a refund immediately. That was 10 days ago and no refund.
Emails and calls and still no further forward, just get fobbed off.
Avoid at all costs.
Its all just a con taking advantage of people desperately in need of a tyre replacement and stuck without any choice but to call for help.

I'm giving 2 stars because the fitter…

I'm giving 2 stars because the fitter was lovely and got us on the move quickly once he arrived.

However, we were advised someone was in the area and would arrive in 45 to 60 mins. 90 mins later we were still waiting so called the company to chase up arrival. We were told the fitter was likely stuck in traffic (10pm on a Monday night). We were told that he has live locations of all the drivers yet would not confirm an arrival time. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the person I was speaking to was the owner, great...you'd think he'd be helpful, instead he was exceptionally rude, raised his voice to me and hung up despite me asking reasonable questions. Exceptionally rude man and whilst I would say I wasn't happy, I was not in the same league as this man and I do wonder if he'd have spoken to me in this manner if I was a male. As 2 women waiting late in the dark, I would expect more understanding and compassion. The fitter was lovely but I would never use this firm again and wouldn't recommend them based on the owners poor attitude.

I completely understand that the poor weather can mean more potholes and consequently more tyre issues, but be reasonable about arrival times so expectations are properly managed at outset.

*AVOID*

Yesterday evening, I was unfortunate enough to experience one of the many pot holes in Newport and as a result, needed a tyre repair service. I googled and came across this company, having never needed it before. I gave them a call and was told that there was a repairer in the area and it would be between 45-60mins costing £290. Not exactly what you need just after Christmas but a necessity.
However, despite being sent the repairer's live location, it meant he was still half an hour away, this was already 90 mins when we had been told between 45-60 mins. When we called the company to enquire why he quite clearly hadn't been in the area, we were met with a very argumentative, aggressive "owner". I didn't so much object to the time or charge initially because I understood I was paying a premium as it was 10pm. I will never use this company again and will tell everyone to avoid as the "owner's" attitude stinks. A little bit of understanding and customer service would have been nice. The only reason i'm submitting two stars is because the driver was lovely and efficient when he eventually arrived.

74yr old robbed

After my elderly mother called for a puncture repair, they changed £100 deposit before allocating a fitter. After the fitter turned up in his van, not knowing if the puncture was fixable, but didn't even put a new tyre in his van. The fitter (a third party company) then inspected the tyre for a puncture, said he could only find a slight leak on the valve. The fitter replaced the valve and out the old tyre back on. This was at an additional cost of £120.... for a valve replacement! Literally, highway robbery. To top it off, 4 hours later, the tyre was deflated again. The company was contacted to ask what they were going to do, to rectify the issue. I was met with a reply of " we can fit a new tyre with a final payment of £270"
I took the car to my local tyre fitter after blowing up the deflated tyre, who found the puncture within 5 seconds of removing the wheel, with iut the use of any water or spray solution. It was clearly visible to someone who actually knew what they were doing. A new tyre with a new valve, supplied and fitted for £140. The prices charged by roadrescue are outrageous and clearly robbed a 75 year old lady.
Do not use! Unless you don't care about being massively overcharged and want an incompetent fitter working in your car. Road rescue were contacted again via message, informing of their poor work and incompetency, asked for a refund surprise surprise, no reply.
