Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience. Everything about it including the communication from Phobio to getting my Costco rebate was seamless. Wish other companies were nearly as efficient as Phobio. Keep up the good work.

Good experience although I prefer in-store trade-in
I was reluctant to use Phobio for trade-in of my device because 1) I prefer knowing the exact trade-in value that I will receive in-store and 2) of the bad reviews.
I created a single video of my device starting up, shutting down, showing the serial number and being packed and sealed in the labeled box.
I received the full estimated trade-in value within in a week.
The service worked for me — although I still prefer the in-store trade-in experience that eliminates the questions of being potentially ripped off.

Unable to get in touch with anyone from Phobio. None of the published phone numbers seemed to worked. All communication had to be through Costco. Website not clear to check existing trade in.

Low ball states I would receive $270…
Low ball states I would receive $270 then states because phone is locked they gave $170. Doesn’t cost anything to have a phone unlocked, they just need submit to that provider to unlock which takes seconds to request and nothing more but wait 24 hours and phone is unlocked

Quick and simple
The trade in process was simple and quick. Answer a few questions about your item, get a QR code and ship it off. I used one of their 3rd party providers that packed and shipped at no cost to me. Within about 10 days I received an email with my payment which was the same as was quoted based on the info I provided about my device. Highly recommend Phobio and will absolutely use them again!
