Why is this so called Publishing Co. still in business⁉️ claims they notified me 8 times before billing me for a subscription I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. Buyer beware…AVOID this Co. like the plague. Some scammer tech person knows how to make it look like a real email/transaction when it ABSOLUTELY IS NOT. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM‼️‼️😡

THis is an absolute scam. They don't need to issue a refund because I will decline the charge on my credit card. I was purchasing a free book and agreed to a $9.95 shipping fee. They charged an extra $49.00 to my credit card. Very poor business practices!

I just got charged an additional $79.95 on my debit card for something! Very hard to get in touch with customer service to cancel. This is a racket!!!

I ordered a diabetic cookbook from them. 3 months later I got hit with a charge against my credit card. Their phone number listed on the charge is invalid. I contacted them via email and they told me when I ordered the book that I signed up for a monthly subscription. I did not sign up for any subscription there was no notification that I saw of any subscription. They claimed it was in my welcome email which I also didn't get. This company is a sham!! Stay away

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Paid for free book but wanted to cancel free trial on the last day. Reached out to company to cancel , they charged my account and wouldn’t not refund! Instead told me to look at the fine print basically & I was out of the window to cancel free trial! So they got an extra 30$ dollars from me. I voiced my dissatisfaction but company could care less!
This is why small businesses like this don’t succeed!

Scam!!!! Beware!!! I wanted the free book. Agreed to pay shipping. I pressed the order button, and was contacted I ordered a set of books for $60. They said they were unable to issue a refund. After several rounds of correspondence- they agreed to give me credit for $60. I ordered their books for $60. They then said I could not use the credit on a refund- BUT would issue me credit for a NEW order!!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I SPENT $120 FOR THE ORIGINAL FREE BOOKS!!!!!

I was just expecting a cookbook but there was so much more information about Mediterranean food and health. It was well worth the cost. I am thrilled with it.

BEWARE: READ THE FINE PRINT
I was looking for a cookbook and when I clicked on the link, it offered me the cookbook for free. I only needed to pay for shipping and handling. Then it took me to another page that offered me 9 more books for only $8. I did click "yes" and was then taken to a 3rd page. I back out of the page but the company charged me $75 anyway and sent me digital cookbooks. I deleted out of the page and should not have been charged. When I called customer service the would not reverse the charge but did give me a $75 credit to their website. Be careful, read everything before you click on anything on this advertisement or page.

This app is super helpful for making healthy food choices. It’s easy to use and full of great recipes!

I got my Free book pretty quickly and ended up getting 4 more as Christmas presents. I didn’t end up continuing the Peapil Health trial because I’m short on funds right now but it looked great, will likely sign up next year.

I ordered the book, Mediterranean Refresh, that was offered for free, just pay shipping of $9.95. The book is worth more than that on AMZ, so I purchased it. In the ordering process, I was offed other books, which I declined. I received the book and a month later, they sent an email saying that my free subscription to Peapil Health expires in a few days. They were going to bill my card $9.95 for a subscription that they had not mentioned to me and that I did not want. I cancelled the subscription and sent a email to support making sure they know that I don't appreciate their underhanded business practices and asking them to remove my billing information from their files.

I don't recommend Peapil to anyone. I would rate them a 0, if I could.

On May 27, I ordered some of your books I have yet to get received one and I have been charged four different charges one for $9.95 another for $49 another for $23.68 another for $34 I am totally disappointed in not receiving and then being charged so many different charges. I have received about 6 of these books - they just keep coming. I don't think I have checked my card statements carefully enough to see if I am being billed. I have been giving copies away.

STEAR CLEAR!!! If I could give zero stars or better yet negative stars I would! I purchased a free book via Facebook ad where I only had to pay for shipping for the Mediterranean Diet Refresh - OK great deal. I paid using Apple Pay. Then it continues on with this “bundle” of 6 ebooks plus 4 meal plans, etc… then there’s a button that said “$8.16 ADD TO ORDER.” So, I’m like that’s not so bad (since I’m a widow working 3 jobs and still on a very fixed income and usually short each month regardless) and I figured my health was worth it. So I click the button and my Apple Pay comes up. It asks me to double click to continue with purchase (as it always does) NOWHERE showing me an amount, as it NEVER does until the purchase goes through (I will now never use Apple Pay online again!) So, I double click, it dings and $49.00 pops up on my screen and says Purchase Complete! WHAT!!!???!!! What happened to $8.16?? So I’m flipping out trying to find a way to contact the vendor to cancel the order. A few minutes later I get the confirmation email and I email them right away and they tell me that the price shows up before I click… NOT!!! And, that because the email was sent with the 6 ebook bundle attached (which I never opened specifically for that reason!) they cannot refund me my $$ because it’s a digital product that was already delivered. But they will give me a $50 gift credit to use at their store. There is NOTHING THERE THAT I WANT. They refuse to work with me in any way. God knows how many people they have done a this to. Next stops: Facebook, Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission! They know full well what they did was a bait and switch. Total SCAM!
