The best hypervisor for Mac OS. I post this opinion basing on my many years' experience of using Parallels Desktop.

All the important little programmes in one place

i find it useful, yet i believe there is room for improvement spatially for support of older os with apple M chips. also regarding ease of use and stability.

I was a VM Fusion user and then had to update due to new MAC Pro. Fusion would not work so I had to load Parallels and I am so glad that Fusion did not work. Parallels works so much easier and more efficiently that Fusion ever did. I know that Apple has done quite a bit of work on battery life but Fusion would drain my battery in ~45 minutes when it was launched even if I was not using it. Parallels, and the new MAC I can run for hours and not have to plug in. Parallels is much easier to use and does not have any of the glitches that Fusion had.

I have several Mac Mini's. It took maybe 5 minutes to install Windows 11 Enterprise on a M2 Mac Mini. Then I was able to run Avid Media Composer (which is Hollywood Movie Software) on my Macs. Thanks!

Great product although quite slow when running some programs and somewhat does not take advantage of the Mac processing capacity but all well. runs perfectly

It does well what it is expected to do. I have been able to continue to use an old mac mini (2011) that other wise would be on the trash. I am running windows 11.

Whoops the backside off bootcamp. I love parallels.

I presented the help team with a internet download issue. I also presented them with a challenge in that the work had to be done remotely and without their control of my system. Challenging. Anyway, the person was able to offer a solution without seeing my system that remedied the issue. Clearly an above average tech team.

This product just plain works

I love using Parallels. I can have my Windows window and Mac window side by side.

Easy installation and works smoothly. Running Windows 11 on an M1 MBP.

Extremely misleading. All photos show that Microsoft is the main VM so I thought it was part of it. Even during the trial, Microsoft 11 was the operating system. After the free trial, I purchased Parallels license. However, now it requires you to activate Microsoft separately, which means you have to purchase another license.

Terrible company as it made their software so difficult to download and has nonexistent customer support requiring customers to search for hours for live assistance!
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from this company!

As a newcomer to Parallels, I have a lot to learn about the numerous features that this suite of software offers, providing a wide range of unique possibilities.
My goal is to acquire sufficient knowledge of the relevant functions to enable the use of 32-bit legacy software on a Macintosh while running the latest macOS systems

I use Toolbox on daily basis without any trouble for
- hide icons in taskbar
- windows manager for changing windows size/position
- current network download/upload statistics

I cannot imagine work with macOS withou Parallels Toolbox for years.

I had a problem upgrading. Parallels Support sent me a detailed process to follow and followed up to make sure all had gone well. I am now running Parallels Desktop V18.2 on an M1 Mac Mini and an Intel-based PowerBook Pro. Started with V4 many years ago.
