Second review in 2 weeks will not use this company again was buying a car and premium was double the price but ended up not buying that car. I have now bought a new car and they can't insurance. A basic car a vauxhall mokka because I only have a month to go before renewal and I need to cancel also say I only have 9 years no claims when in fact I will have 14 years at the end of policy. Now I will get phone calls wanting to talk don't phone as got insurance elsewhere

Very poor indeed. I renewed my car insurance with nutshell due to a good price on Money SuperMarket,I paid up front for the year. The next day I receive an email from nutmeg saying due to info on the CUE system that they have to increase the price. Using the chat system is slow and ineffective . I decided to cancel as only 3 days into contract. Told I would have to pay £25 admin fee..I have no trust I this firm should I need to make a claim. Not customer focused , awkward to deal with. Wish I’d stayed with the A A now but wanted to save some money, false dawn. I do not recommend this company.

I’ve just bought the policy and when received the documents, I’ve checked the certificate which says that driving other vehicles is not allowed. Tried to cancel the policy which starts on the 21st but have been charged £25 for cancelling. No grace period nothing! In future make it clear if driving other vehicles is allowed or not before making customer buy a policy to find out. Update : Vicky has resolved the issue and refunded me the £25 that was charged.

I found the whole process very easy to use. I was surprised to see how much was included in the policy for the price, I was able to add road side assistance and uk recovery for under £50.00
I found them on compare the market and they gave me the best price.
Highly recommend.

I completed everything as asked, you have taken payment, then o went onto MY ACCOUNT to see if I could print off details and it just said something cement wrong, then they wanted a password which I only used Face ID so it would except just another password.. frustrating

Firstly, i applied for the insurance to be told, they was upping the price of the policy due to not telling them about a windscreen claim that had happened over 5 years ago.
Then when i tried to change my direct debit date was met with nothing but hassel, as had to wait till my payment had gone through before could change the date in that same month, had to be done via online chat portal no number to call anyone. Not acceptable for a buisness claiming to be very good.
Would not recommend to anyone only to ombudsmen

Would give them 0 if possible what a joke of a company car was involved in a non fault accident they arrange to have my car recovered from the road side.
3 days later they can’t locate my car it’s gone missing what a joke no phone calls from them no emails not messages at all they basically lost my car.
I managed to locate the vehicle location and called them to let them know where the car was and guess what nothing now 5 days in and they still haven’t sorted the paper work to have the car released from the storage place.. I have called the storage please and been told until nutshell contact them and give them the information the car isn’t going anywhere not even back to me..
How is this acceptable honestly they may have good prices but if you want a pice of mind when an accident or claim happened these are definitely not the people to choose.
I have had no phone calls or emails the whole time it’s been me chasing them to find out what’s happening with my car still nothing be careful people

I cancelled the policy within 10 minutes of taking it out as my previous insurer agreed to beat Nutshell's price. Nutshell levied a £25 charge and I now have to wait up to 7 days for the refund. Ridiculous! Will never use them in future.
Update: so, I had s reply from Nutshell asking for more information so they could look into it for me, which I emailed through to them. And, guess what, heard absolutely nothing since!!

I applied online and everything seems to be ok. After I paid I received an email telling me I did not declare a claim. It as for a window replacement for a vehicle I had and soled in 2022. I was not aware I had to DECLARE it.
I was asked and additional payment of £118.23
I immediately canceled the policy, Because of the following reason.
My wife also renewed her policy and as I was a named driver the same None declaration came up on her policy.
But her new company, RAC online DID NOT CHARGE HER EXTRA!
