Excellent value for money and a very prompt service

Could not access their website from overseas. Site kept showing error 403 Forbidden. You would think their web designers would be up on this as I’m sure the shop is missing out on sales because of it.

Oh no I wish I still had my old model shops and I ain't dealing with hornby they are crap 😫 as for this place 😢 it's very Wentworth and overpriced just like Hornby it's pathetic 😔 I now deal direct with PECO with a big discount won't come here again!

Fast friendly and helpful. I live in Leeds, but am happy to shop online for sensible prices and excellent service.
Will continue to use this store as apporopriate, even though I have another excellent store nearby.

We arrived 15 mins before shop closed
There was no n gauge on display all have to be viewed on a computer
So was taking some time
The lady was ok and said she’s there till 5 and no rush
We picked 2 trains and was trying to decide on another item when a chap came up very rude attitude saying I have to pay now or get out and leave the items
If the items wasn’t a birthday present I would off left without paying and never return again
Not recommended especially if you are into your n gauge trains

Good price and amazing delivery. I ordered a woodland scenic mini vac on Tuesday afternoon which arrived today, Wednesday at lunchtime. Can’t fault the cost of delivery with a service like that

Bought a Peckett 0-4-0 loco, when it arrived I noticed the chimney was badly fitted and leaning forwards. I emailed them telling them of the issue and they replied that all their stock (27 locos) were the same (can you believe them? I can't) and I could return the loco at my own cost but only if the package was unopened. How can you see the loco has a fault without opening the box?? Once I'd reminded them about the sale of goods act they improved their attitude, but in my opinion they are best avoided as untrustworthy.

Purchased some of Model Railway Magazine's "How to Series". They have been really helpful and at £1 each I couldn't resist snapping them up. However I payed £3.99 for "first class delivery" which Royal Mail states that they will aim to deliver next day and at max should take 3 days. Mine took 6 days and arrived on a Sunday afternoon, Which Royal Mail does not deliver on. Bit confused. Not sure they actually use Royal Mail first class. Maybe mine was delivered but their carrier by mistake? I did not see who delivered it.

Placed an online order late on a Friday, confirmation email received at the time, email received Monday stating that my order had been picked and another stating it had been dispatched, received order Tuesday AM, very happy.
