VERY DIFFICULT to get Cashback - Updated

I worked directly with the merchant that I used with maxrebates. The merchant confirmed that they received the payment request from Maxrebates and sent them the money to Maxrebates for payout to me. Over a month later it still hasn't been paid out (since the merchant sent the money). Its been almost 4 months since I made the purchase (It was a very large purchases with several hundred in cashback).
I escalated to merchant, I sent repeated emails to Maxrebates (there is no phone number to call).
UPDATE - Changed from 1 start to 3. After this post and after numerous emails between myself, Maxrebates and the merchant. Maxrebates FINALLY released the funds for payment. I shouldn't have to chase for cashback that the merchant already paid Maxrebates. My only advice is keep watching the status of pending vs payable and keep on top of them via email.

The cashback amount of your account will be in pending status and making withdraws is prohibited not unless you have reached the minimum amount of cashback that should be earned for 10.00.

Your account does not reach the minimum cashback amount required to make a withdrawal. We encourage you to make more orders and earn more cashback for you to qualify and can make withdrawals.

Tyra won't listen and give me my rebate…

Tyra won't listen and give me my rebate for my $540 Home Depot purchase. It's a nightmare! Their site won't allow me to submit a claim. And they failed to do their job in 1st place where I had to even resort to contacting them! This is the worst cash back experience ever in my life! help pls!

I did my job by clicking on your site previous to buying the rest is your job. That you and merchant both failed your jobs isn't mny fault. If you were doing what should of been done I wouldn't have to submit any claim.

We do apologize if she did not meet your satisfaction. Based on report provided, your submitted claim happens to be more than 90 days from the day that you have made the purchased. Our merchants typically do not entertain or accept reviews of order if this is more than 90 days, what Tyra did is she try to push the claim to be submitted and review by merchant.

We always make sure that we follow guidlines and I believe that you see the information about the 90 days restriction for submitting order inquiries.

Does not pay promised rebates

Does not pay promised rebates, support is not helpful. I made 2 puchases, 2 different stores, both tracked, support offered no assistance, nothing was ever paid. I will never use this company again.

Update July 3, 2023: I recognize nothing in the reply from maxrebates as true: I have not had any response from their support, and I have no way of submitting a payout request because both of my rebates are still listed as "pending" (2 different vendors, both 7 months ago)

I have reviewed your conversation with her and found out that you were having troubles verifying an order to proceed with a payment request.

Please be guided that we are just doing a strict security protocol to protect our users account, you were ask to provide order details to proceed with the verification and failed to submit missing information.

You can log in to the merchant's website and go to your account history page for you to be able to locate the missing information for verification.

Once you completed and comply with this process, your account will be verified and can proceed to request withdrawals of your cashback.

I hope you can understand this protocol that we conduct for security reasons of our individual users.

Please let us know what was the email address that you have used to send your concern, we never get any response from you with this reply nor on our customer service email for assistance.

This is one of the worst cash back companies

This is one of the worst cash back companies. After making a purchase, the cash is never applied to the account. Eventually, they take away any purchases from your account. After messaging about it multiple times, they do not resolve anything. When initially signing up, they claim you would get a certain amount of cash for signing up that would be applied to your account. It is a different cash back amount for anyone that signs up under you. I had several sign up and they never got anything either even though sufficient purchases were made. Other companies are much better and they give the cash back rewards that were earned. If there are issues, it is resolved. This review is requiring a date for the experience. This is an overview of the company and their practices.

Thank you for your reply. However, no explanation for how the cash back works was needed as it is already something I am aware of. I messaged several times about the cash back that was not applied for my account but it was never resolved. I do not think it is necessary to pursue this any further since nothing will be done. It is obvious that the company does not want to pay out anything since all the ones I referred have the same thing happening. If our accounts were credited, the payout amount would be met. However, all the accounts have issues where the amount was not credited after fulfilling the requirements. Again, thank you for your reply but I believe there is nothing that will be done.

If you have orders that is not added to your account we can submit an appeal of missing cashback to the merchant for review in order for this orders to be added to your account once approve by the merchant itself.

For creating an account with us you will get 5.00 sign up bonus but this bonus will be pending unless you reach the amount of cashback that you have earned for purchasing orders with our affiliate merchants which is for 10.00 available cashback, once system detected that you have earned this amount of cashback automatically pending sign up bonus will be converted as available and withdrawable.

If you have friends or users with max that you referred, the referal cashabck from your account can only be claimed once the account user also earned the same required cashback for 10.00.

May we know what was your account email for us to better assist you with this concern of yours? just simply email us and let us know about this matter.

Changed Review

Made a purchase on 12/28/2022 through MaxRebates and received a status of Cash Back Pending. Contacted them after a month to see why the cash back amount still hasn't been paid and was told it could take up to 90 days for the company to respond and to check back then.
At the 90 days mark and the status still showed as Pending, I contacted them again and they said they would contact the company. After another 30 days I again contacted Max Rebates and this time was told it could take up to 120 days and to check back then (at this time it has been 120 days since the purchase so they aren't even looking into this).

Have another 90 day mark coming up for another purchase from a different company made on 2/7/2023 but expect the same BS on that one.

Not making any other purchases through Max Rebates until this is resolved.

UPDATE: After filing this review, received a response from them and they then said I'd have to wait for 120 days instead of 90 days they originally told me. After emailing them back about that, they then said that they would check into it and get back to me.

Within a week from then, I received the cash back due me and the other cash back I was also expecting after 90 days waiting also appeared.

Changing my review to 5 stars for the customer service I received after the original one star review I gave. This is the way a company should be responsive to their customers and hope any future dealings I have with them get this kind of service.

All of the data that we have here are merchant provided. The information that was informed to you is correct. It usually takes about 60-90 days for cash back to be available. It will depend on different merchants as they have different speeds for reviewing the shopping information.

Another reason is that some merchants wait for the return date to pass for this to be processed and provide the cashback to us and if this reached 120 days we always make sure that we follow up this with them.
