They have very good servers and good tech support. But their prices are way too high compared to other options. I stay only because migrating my sites out, would be too painful.

I have been using Leaseweb services for almost 20 years, managing dozens of dedicated servers, VPS, and domains. I have never experienced a single problem: the infrastructure is stable and reliable, server performance is consistently superior to the competition, and the support team is always fast and effective. The control panel is simple, clean, and functional.
A service I can confidently recommend to anyone looking for reliability and top performance.

Very rude customer support. Trying to charge 12months ahead because I did not informed about server cancelation on time. We tried to pay them ahead 1-3months, but they are very greedy and want to charge us for unused servers.

A slew of useless emails after paying for a 3 year VPS package, yet no information on the server standup. A day later after I sent several follow up emails, I get a response of please complete these additional requirements for verification and wait up to 7 business days.
Horrible bait and switch practices with no value to the end user. This ended up pushing an important project behind as sourcing for a new provider had to be redone.
Apparently the cancellation and refund process also is a week ordeal to unwind oneself from this misleading company.
Avoid at all costs as if this is the first encounter to establish an account, heaven knows how long it would take to get support.

Leaseweb refused to provide services without giving any specific reason, citing only their internal “Compliance policies.” We are a non-sanctioned company from Kyrgyzstan with a long business history, yet received nothing but a formal rejection. The lack of transparency and inability to understand what exactly was not acceptable makes cooperation with them highly problematic.

Sign-up and verification were smooth. Support helped me a lot, especially Belinda from the US team.
Server performance is wonderful for the price.
I appreciate Belinda's efforts, amazing support, help beyond the boundaries, and overall, very happy with the service and support.

After a few years of conducting business with Leaseweb, I finally owe them a positive review. Leaseweb addresses its offerings primarily at professionals and maintains entities all over the world. It's easy to switch from one entity to another in the customer portal and manage your servers. A KYC proceeding (identity verification) is mandatory, runs smoothly and is accepted by other Leaseweb entities from other continents. As a result, I've never spotted any scammers running their hacking- and spam-bots from a Leaseweb location.
As a standout feature, they offer customized contracts and discounts for customers operating multiple servers, in addition to regular attractive sales offers. Issues are addressed promptly, and support tickets are answered personally within minutes, even if no managed services have been ordered. The web chat on their website is maintained by sales agents who have always been polite and professional. For larger tasks, they open up additional communication channels through conference calls, group chats, and email, again without having ordered managed services. For each entity (continent), you get your own personal account manager.
Leaseweb provides ultra-low latency connectivity in all major Internet hotspots around the world, so no third-class locations hundreds of miles away from the key centers. The services running in the datacenters themselves are reliable and stable. Unlike competitors who offer servers with cheap consumer-grade CPUs, Leaseweb only runs professional server hardware in top-tier datacenters at unrivaled deal prices. Configuration of IPv4 and IPv6 settings, including additional IPs, works seamlessly without any issues. Billing works fine, you get a two-week payment term, followed by a gentle reminder and an additional 7-day grace period, with no overdue charges or any kind of drama.

We've been waiting for their over-the-top KYC checks for a few days now. No communication. No notice. Just a vague email with "... hurry up and wait."
I've dealt with a lot of SaaS / Cloud providers in my 25 years in the Software Development space. Never had this much lack of communication with the customer and so little professionalism.
I'll certainly never use them for a multi-million dollar project if they can't even handle a smaller order like this. Shameful.
UPDATE: Began charge-back procedures with the originating financial institution as we cannot literally get anyone on chat, email, or phone to respond within a timely manner. I would have loved to have resolved this in a different manner, but their obtuse customer service makes it intentionally difficult to discuss anything with them.
UPDATE 2 in response to reply:
My order was canceled and charges reversed via financial institution chargeback with your deceptive company days after I posted this review as none of your customer service representatives were available or were able to be contacted.
This review was posted in July -- it is now September -- and you are now just replying.
My original issue was with how long your deceptive KYC practices take. I don't need an explanation as to why they are needed; just as to why you handle them in such an incompetent and untimely manner.
Then it takes you two months to respond to a review? Interesting.
It seems being out-of-touch and out-of-time runs deeper in your organizations core values than I thought.
SIDE NOTE: My 'ticket number' was shared with support. Multiple times to little-to-no effect.

Well, I had a very bad experience with Leaseweb. Their staff takes everything as revenge, and it shouldn't be that way. Unfortunately, Leaseweb allows its staff to behave very poorly toward customers. I don't recommend purchasing services from this company. Terrible.

Despite their claim of "delivery within 10 minutes," the reality was completely different. They initiated a Know Your Customer (KYC) process after taking my payment, which dragged on for days with little communication. This process should have been handled before charging the customer or clearly disclosed upfront. SCAM!!!!

Leaseweb purchased my original hosting company, Servint, and it all went downhill from there. They raise their rates every year while delivering worse and worse customer service. They outsourced the automated backups to another company and limited the storage space so it couldnt even support my server backups. When inquiring about additional services, their customer support told me they dont offer hosting services to the USA, when they claim to have data centers in the USA and I've had a VPS through them for years prior. After almost 20 years with Servint/Leaseweb, I've left this company and would never look back. Infact, I plan on making sure everyone knows my experience so they can avoid Leaseweb like the plague!

If you are criminal, want to send phishing, SPAM and other unwanted e-mails - then LeaseWeb is for you. You are 100% safe that they won't block you.
Why? I am struggling with them for over month. LeaseWeb wanted me to "send each report for each IP separately". I did that. They cannot block spammer which every day is sending me dozens of spam. They always marks problems as "resolved", but all IP that spammer used are still active. These e-mails are temporary, used one time and to send new spam, spammer uses different IP. Despite that fact that you can visit these IP (and there is the same landing page hacker always uses) means that they didn't shut down spammer accounts. They cannot reply why they considered these tickets as solved, despite they were not solved and I still receive similar spam every day. I have enough and I hope lightning strikes their servers, starts a fire, and their servers will burn down. I guess that it will stop me from receiving spam that they are co-responsible for because they do not want to cooperate.

Long time iWeb.com user (they aquired iweb long time ago). This week when planning to test their service to move back to them, they requested my info, I sent them, but they did not even read it, they asked again for my email address even when on the tributary document I sent them is there, clearly there.
Quite laggy to respond, quite messy. I do not want a company with such laggy response times. So I asked them for a refund and will not move my servers to them. I now why I left them after they bought iweb.

I ordered VPS server and paid with my credit card. After they sent id verification email.
I sent my documents for id verification and asked
If you need id verification , why gets money from credit card without verification.
Other hosting companies get money after id verification.
They sent email and they said.
You are person. you are not company. you cant use our vps . we will refund in 5 business days.

They are one of the premium Server providers out there. Specially, In Europe :)

I paid for a VPS with Leaseweb, but after making the payment, I had to go through an extremely complicated verification process, which took five days. They also don’t provide personal VPS; they only offer B2B services, which wasn’t made clear upfront. Customer support was unhelpful, and the whole experience left me frustrated. They didn’t give me the VPS I wanted, and I was left waiting far too long. On top of that, I’m still waiting for my refund, and it's been almost three days now.
My personal advice for Leaseweb: Do your verification before payment, and don't waste people’s valuable time and money.
I won’t be recommending Leaseweb to anyone.

I purchased a VPS advertised with NVMe SSD storage, but its performance was worse than a basic HDD. I provided proof and asked them to provide a solution, they failed to provide any solution after wasting weeks of back and forth communication, they admitted the issue and agreed to cancel the contract which was an exemption. These are the exact words "I see that you are on a yearly contract but we are allowing a one time exception to cancel this VPS.". Instead, they charged a renewal fee and ignored my follow-ups. Then, after a month they sent a quotation to sign with a huge setup fee and an agreement to pay an early termination fee. The service was not as described and unusable. This is false advertising, and forcing users to sign shady documents is a clear scam attempt. Stay away from them.

I had two servers with a 1-year contract. In September 2024, I opened a ticket to move my old servers to a newer generation server. They told me to order the new server again with a 1-year contract, make the payment, and they would cancel the old contract with ‘tech refresh’. I did exactly as they said, I placed the order, made all the payments, moved everything to the new server, but they haven't cancelled the old contract for 4 months.
The first date I opened the ticket was Sep 5, 2024, their last response was Oct 4, 2024 and today January 27, 2025 and I am still waiting for them to cancel the old contract and refund the money.
LeaseWeb? Never again!
Jan 29, 2025 Update:
They said they will not cancel the old contract. The payment of € 2,255 was not refunded but extorted.
Sep 26, 2025 Update:
They even asked for a ticket number as if they were going to fix the situation. I moved all my servers from the trash LeaseWeb to Worldstream. Never ever LeaseWeb again. I'm warning everyone around me to stay away.

It says NVME Storage, but the benchmark results are equivalent to a regular hard disk. I/O speed is only around 100 MB/s. Very slow
