My aunt died, in her 90s, in August 2022.
I am her only living relative. I understand she left her entire estate to her local hospice. To the best of my knowledge, her estate is simple - a bank account, one or two deposits accounts and her mortgage free home.
Her sole executor is a solicitor with this firm.
The house has stood unoccupied since her death and to the best of my knowledge the estate is still to be wound up. I have enquired, but her executor refuses to communicate with me on the grounds of "confidentially " .
