Horrible after sales customer service, AVOID at all costs.

If you are a homeowner reading the reviews of this company before deciding whether to engage them, I would please encourage you to read this before you proceed. This company's sales person would appear all nice and sweet talk you while you are at their showroom choosing doors. Tip top customer service. However, beware that everything will change once payment is made. I am not sure about other sales persons, but please avoid this sales person called Rita.

Rita would make empty promises and any date you request for installation, she would reply with "no problem". However, please note that this is all verbally done at their showroom and it is not recorded on text. Nearing the installation date, she will say that her delivery schedule is "full" and will need to postpone the installation.

During the postponed installation date, guess what! Door is not installed yet. Why? Because they brought a door with a wrong measurement! There was enough time extension given to the company, yet they can even mess up a simple thing like measurement of the door. For goodness sake, I am not sure how they managed the measure the metal grill at the correct dimension, yet my main door's dimension is much smaller and cannot fit at all. Surely if you are professional and into the door business for a long time, shouldn't this discrepancy raise a red flag and perhaps you want to double confirm the measurements before fabricating the door?

Enough has been said, now that we have messaged the sales person Rita, response was poor and we were basically left in the lurch, because we have already made full payment for the door.

Very poor follow-up and after sales customer service. Sales person Rita did not once apologise to us, and even laughed it off when we mentioned that we do not have a proper lock because our door lock is spoilt and we need the new door to be up desperately.

Please, if you have read till the end, think twice and consider again. There are other much better alternatives in Singapore for digital lock. I would never ever recommend this company at all. The sales persons feel that they have superior power over their consumers since they have already received the money in full. I hope that this review would let you think twice and go for alternatives easily available at a much better customer service.

Very disappointed with the service

Very disappointed with the service. On 3/8/21, came to dismantle old toilet door n install new then found missing parts. Dismantle the new door and bring back. I was left without toilet door for 3 days! After coming back to install the new door 2 days later, workmanship was bad. Badly applied sealant, alignment out for door leaf. Request for rectification but no arrangement was made till date. This shall be my first and last time I will purchase from this company and will not recommend to any friends.

The measurement and advice provided by…

The measurement and advice provided by them are inconsistent. We ended up with the digital lock which was not of our first choice. Their after sales service is terrible. There is no reply from Grace despite numerous reminder. As I have misplaced my emergency key and all I’m asking is where can I get the emergency key for Samsung Digital Lock and she can’t even assist. For those who are considering them, I strongly advise you not to.

Bad customer service from Rita. Bad time management.

Experience at the showroom was great but after sale services from Rita is shockingly bad. 1. Despite having placed and paid for an order way ahead in Dec for an Apr installation, they reached out only in Mar to say the colour we have chosen is out of stock and they have zero visibility on restock date, and that we don’t have a choice. I can understand if we haven’t paid for the order, but we did, and we did so way in advance the secure the choices we wanted. 2. Despite locking in a date for installation a month in advance, they only gave me a time slot a day ahead. There was no reaction time provided and again it’s too bad for us. Either make it or risk having everything delayed and even then they can only give you a time one day ahead. 3. Only after doors and digital lock were installed, they figured their “best selling” digital lock had an issue and the remote wasn’t working. So I had to rearrange to have this fixed as well - and after 2 days I still haven’t heard back on a date. 4. Despite telling them to leave a gap for flooring to be done post installation of gate, they did not. This further derailed my renovation schedule and again I have to go through the nightmare of scheduling a date for them to rectify the door so that I can make arrangements for the flooring again. Most of all calls to them are either ignored or answered but follow up is extremely tardy and not to mention, plain rude. I have just managed to push for a date and time for them to rectify their mistakes and replace the faulty lock sold to us. It was scheduled for 4pm 2 days back and I just got a reminder to say now it’s 430pm and they are unable to commit to a time. When asked isn’t it 4pm, I had a rude reply from Rita “same what” and “madam, timing can’t be zhun zhun”. Well I’m not asking for your guys to be there 4pm on the dot but you can’t be changing the time by 30mins at your whims and not to mention being plain ill mannered. This is irresponsibility at its best. UPDATE: so despite the 4pm/430pm appointment, the team from Laminate Door is still MIA (it is now 454pm) with ZERO updates from them. Only upon chasing do we get a reply to say delay till maybe around 510pm. That’s 1h10mins late with no updates or heads up given to us. Well I know we are just homeowners and not IDs so there may not be much incentive to provide a good customer service but it is embarassing to see their conspicuous advertisement across multiple social media platforms on how they prioritise customer satisfaction which evidently is not the case, for me at least. The order I have placed with them is not a small one either.

Poor service

Poor service. Made a deposit to have my grill gate change plus digital lock for both main door and gate in mid Nov but the gate was not even up as at now. We need to keep follow up with them on the schedule and when promised to come today the timing keep delay for an hour after an hour. The time slot given to us is acceptable since they say the gate just took an hour to instal but after which they delay the timing hour after hour knowing we had something on that evening. Finally when came, the gate design is wrong. It is not what we requested.. totally wasted our time.. very disappointing...

Actual door and showroom sample was different

The sample and the actual door were different material. arrange for inspection upon complain, service guy came and i tol him i forfeit my deposit of 55% and ask him to remove, he called office and ask me pay another $150 to remove and forfeit deposit, my balance is just $300 more, so no point to remove. i go their office next day the manger changed their decision again said they remove and no need to pay $150. So inconsistent .
