Very poor service

Don’t go here. After 2 online appointments with another location we came to Krefeld to look at the materials for the definitive kitchen. Costs us 1,5 hour of driving (one way) just to be pointed at the door by arriving. No service, we need to make an appointment for 3,5 hours otherwise they will not help us. Even though we just wanted to look at the materials and finetune the kitchen to actually buy it! But apparently it was too much to ask.

But now i am actually reading all the horrible reviews and i think we dodged a bullet here. At least i have 1,5 hour to write more bad reviews so other people can be warned.

Awful service

The sales and design "expert" was keen on helping as long as he could make money with my contract. He even told me that he will not get paid when I rescheduled an appointment I could not make. He did not care for any details specific to the space in my kitchen, made a major blunder with my washing machine which meant that all the modular parts of the washing machine were included in the delivery except the machine itself. When I called him to discuss this fix, he promised that he will help and blamed me for the misunderstanding. And that's that, he was never to be heard from again. No call, no email responses, no fix.

I now have to fix his mistakes at my own dime.

The people who came to install the kitchen were wonderful and super helpful and understanding.

STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

While the initial planning experience is quality, as soon as you sign a contract with them, it will go downhill rapidly.

We signed a contract with them on July/Aug 2021. We provided the ground floor of our kitchen to get started. A month later, a team came by to take exact measurements. We were told the kitchen would be delivered roughly 3 months later.

Delivery indeed came 3 months later, but it was missing parts of the kitchen, such as a backsplash, range hood, and dishwasher. A new appointment was made for roughly a month later (so now at 4 months since purchase), to get the missing things installed. When they come back with the missing items for installation, they told us the measurements for the dishwasher were wrong and when opening it, it was colliding with the fridge (installers told us to "just get a new fridge").

We went back and forth again for several weeks with the person we signed the contract with. This was very stressful, infuriating and irritating. They didn't offer any solutions, instead, KA wanted to charge us over 2K to re-do the kitchen and fix their mistake, offer money for a new fridge (which was nearly impossible to find due to the space)... They only agreed to our solution after we went over the catalogue of the products we bought to see what could be resolved. The simple solution they couldn't offer to us was to have a smaller dishwasher + a narrow cabinet to replace the full size dishwasher.

After pressuring them on taking accountability, they agreed to our solution of having a narrower dishwasher (going from 60cm to 45cm) and having a 15 cm towel/bottle rack. On top of that, they wanted to charge us nearly 400eu for fixing their mistake. How complicated can that be?

Today (June 1st) after months of waiting for a solution, (e-mail thread started on January 30th, 2022) they delivered the dishwasher and rack. However, they didn't order the correct fronts for either cabinet.

It has been nearly 1 year since we started the process with KA to buy a kitchen, and it is still not completed.

Overall, there has been no accountability on their behalf. Horrible communication (they don't answer phone calls, don't reply to e-mails unless you constantly nag them) and the only way to get any type of compromise to fulfill their obligations is by threatening them with a lawyer or getting lawyers involved. They only find excuses for their mistakes, and/or simple ignore us.

They are shady, irresponsible, unprofessional, dubious behaviour, that won't follow their own contract. If I could give them negative stars, I would. They are not worth your money, time, or stress!

Do not care to service and refer to manufacturers

Im a new Property Owner of a house(which was previously owned by others) for which the entire Kitchen Unit was built by Kuchenaktuell. Well, there is a complete warranty of 10 years for the entire Kitchen unit and devices from Kuchenaktuell for which I have the documents. I have contacted the Kuchenaktuell for repairing of the NEFF refrigerator which is making annoying sounds and the response from Kuchenaktuell is to contact the manufacturer of the NEFF refrigerator. What non sense is this from Kuchenaktuell, that you do not care about the service of the product(s) installed by you??
This is really a disgusting experience and I can say, that a new customer can never start with Kuchenaktuell if this is the service you intent to provide and forget about an existing customer.

Absolutely pathetic experience.
