This company does not respect you

This company does not respect you. They invite you to onboard, they collect several documents from you, private information, and then they simply disappear. I was onboarded to a project called Orion in November 2025; they made me sign an SOW, and then they simply vanished from existence. Their HR doesn't respond to emails, and their worksuit is annoying and incredibly useless, since they not only are unhelpful but also spam your inbox with emails telling you how they will not help you. They invite you to their HR meeting, where they will tell you how such a human and helpful company they are. It looks like this company is run by bitter HR women who want to prove to themselves how much they despise you and think you are a lesser human being.

A warning to potential candidates

A warning to potential candidates: I was hired for the Andromeda Panda project in Poland 17 days ago. Since then, I have been met with total silence. No workbench access, no instructions, and zero response from HR or Project Managers . It is misleading to post 'immediate' hiring ads while current employees are being ignored and left without work for over 2 weeks. Very unprofessional experience.

This is data mining, not a job opening,

I applied for an AI training job opening over one month ago at the same time as three other people that I know. I provided sensitive PII and took an assessment. I never heard back from them, and the other three people has the same experience. If it was on the level, they should at least tell someone if they did not pass. More online research shows that this is a pattern. Avoid any job openings from them, they are at best a ghost job and at worst a phishing scam.

Scam

This company is total indian fraud. They didn't pay me around 2k$. I was working for them for 3 month on OpenAI's projects and was assessing picture generations. At the begining everything was okey. I passed challenging onboarding. It is 3 step process. Many guys fail, and now I'm sure they weren't been paid for many hours they spent on it. So, I was paid trifle amount for successful onboarding and first two weeks I worked part time 'cause they didn't allow me to work longer. Then, after 2 months of full time job, I suddenly got off boarded because "my banking country is different than legal residence". That's a bizarre thing indeed, because I provided these banks details before I started to work with them, and nobody was saying smth is wrong. I said okay, I updated my bank credentials, don't wanna make business with you anymore though because you treat people like animals. Just pay me what you owe. I contacted every department, every person responsible — no response. It's a month since then.

I know at least one other person in the same situation.

Unreliable

Unreliable
Cut short your working time
Short Payment

I worked a contract employee. They dont belive their own time tracking tool. I was accepted for a hourly pay. They did not calculate the hours as per their own CRM which is genuine and reliable. Intentionally they have reduced my genuinely worked hours for about 50% and they have short paid me. Its unprofessional so, do not accept any work from this company.

Indian company don't care workers

The company does not take care of new employees at first, the employee has to learn to work from scratch. The Indian work culture shines and all IT support is Indian, they work 24 hours a day, have faulty microphones and don't even know English. iMerit is working on Pluto 2 AI, based on Facebook pictures, it has to be taught to recognize faces, personal IDs, bank IDs, account numbers, locations, names, whether a person is male or female, animals are not interested in this AI. The trainers do not know the tasks and do nothing about things, they invite them to training and cancel them all the time, they don't even do their job. The person in charge thinks about nothing but money and doesn't even mention that they get paid for waiting in line for IT support and other things, this is not told and especially for the recommendation of new employees they are paid $1000, which is only told to a few people. The whole company is absolutely screwed, I haven't received my salary for two months. All Indian companies are the same, this is not an American one.

Do not recommend

We worked with the vendor a while back to complete a natural language data annotation task. We were overcharged for the number of days the vendor worked on the project. The quality of the work measured by us was also not at par with professional work, likely because the vendor used some inexperienced workers.

It was also bizzare to be strong-armed by Jai Natarajan (an iMerit VP) after the data annotation task was complete and I provided an unbiased review of the work. In another show of unprofessionalism, Jai agreed to get a data compliance review done by iMerit and never got it completed. I was sadly also witness to Jai abusing someone on the phone during my iMerit visit, making the work environment feel unsafe.

I understand that there are constraints in business settings but I would honestly not work with this vendor again due to the lack of professionalism.

Pure slavery...Not freelance

Pure slavery...Freelance? Forced to work from 9 AM to 5 PM (8hours) every working days. Paid 21 days after task approval? Payment rate : $15/hr reduced to $5/hr during onboarding phase. Just for Asians and Africans jobless people, not freelance work at all.
