Hallernes Smørrebrød Reviews 

I've eaten at Hallernes Smørrebrød many times, and its always delicious. They have a wide selection of traditional toppings, the ingredients are fresh and everything looks beautiful. I recommend it to everyone who visits Copenhagen!

At tivoli food hall. The smørrebrød I got was with roast beef. As a danish myself I know how these are supposed to taste. Unfortunately the “crispy onions” were nowhere near crispy. They had a nice flavor but was all soggy probably from sitting outside all day. They have all of their smørrebrød on display and leave the nicest and biggest ones in the front and give you the old ones in the back so you can’t see what you’re actually getting. My piece was quite a bit smaller and less “pretty” than the ones I saw in the front. The beef was also not very nice nor fresh and it was missing the key component. Remoulade!? Where was it? No remoulade was probably the biggest disappointment and that says a lot when you’ve seen the prices. I didn’t get a flæskestegssandwich but 115kr for one!? Absurd. The most expensive and uninteresting smørrebrød I’ve ever gotten. For 78kr. I’d reconsider going home buying all the ingredients in netto for the same price and making at least 10 with it. You can do this even at a hotel.

Please don’t waste money on something you can make 10 times better and cheaper!
