Be careful
I wanted to cancel my booking and I have mailed to you on 9.2. , 20.2. and 22.2 and 10.3. to the email where i should mail reg. cancelation , but never got any answer and no confirmation .
Finally i got via Whatts app a manager and when i asked for cancellation which should be without any costs , they did not want to give back the deposit , as they mentioned its a service fee and non refundable . Be careful with this company its a fraud !

They let me pay a pre payment for a car they even did not have the confirmation of the owner for, kept me nearly one week waiting by promising the confirmation will come but it never came and caused a damage of 2000 USD with their lies. Never again with this company. They lied to me all the time.

BAD RENTAL CAR EVER
I rent a car in Dubai from 27/09/2022 at 9am and return car on 02/10/2022 at 8 pm
I was charged for 6 days, and when managing the return deposit, the owner charged me 1 extra day
I'm discussing with car owner and with GETRENTACAR for many weeks now and I'm not able to have a fedback.
You do not know how to count days?
Why will I be charged for 7 days when my renting was for 6 days?

I have lost my deposit and this company is not helping getting that money. Please don’t use this company and I have filed consumer protection act for saving others. They just take the brokerage charge that’s it and after that we need deal with the car owner company.
***I saw the reply from this company here****. We had a whatsapp conversation and you did not help to get the refund. Please do not take the money from the people. You are not helpful at all. I do not know how many of your customers lost their deposit. those who are lost should file a consumer complaint so that it will atleast protect other customers. I have proof in whatsapp that you can't do anything on getting the deposit.

Abu dhabi rentacar experience that feels cheated
I rented a car in Abu Dhabi from April 14th to 19th based on my order from website. There was refundable deposit, and i paid it. Contact person and client manager said that this amount will be paid back during 15-20 days.
The contact person said that for the duration of the car's lease, an amount of 140 usd was calculated for taxes and fees and this amount would be deducted from the refundable deposit amount. (in negotiation proses he said this deposit is for cases crash or any damage)
Even though 3 months have passed since that period, I can't get any payment back. Each time, the employee of the company extended the time by saying that the payment will be made tomorrow or this week, there was some problem, etc. That person doesn't answer my phone and messages anymore. I feel cheated and unhappy. Please help me recover my rights and prevent others from experiencing this shameful scam.

WE COULD HAVE DIED!
Your contract is not with the company but with individuals renting their cars on this website.
We rented a car in Tbilisi, everything went fine at first, the owner delivered the car on time. Then he says that we have to fill in gas (it was completely empty, we worried we would not reach a gas station in time), and pump the wheels. This is something he should have done himself to begin with, at least fix the airpressure in the tires. We drove an hour around Tbilisi to find a place where to get it done as at 8AM everything was closed.
We also noticed a warning on the dashboard
about the hybrid system (from the very start) and called the owner. He said it should be looked at but that we can just drive further. At this moment we should have cancelled everything. It was raining, a lot, we drove very carefully, 80km/h on a road where you're supposed to drive 110km/h. During one part we got in a LIFE THREATENING SITUATION , the car started slipping on water, I don't want to think what would have happened if my partner didn't do a slipping course in the past. A usual driver would have probably not handled this situation. This could've ended badly for the three of us. We checked the tires after that and they were COMPLETELY WORN OUT. You can't pass the annual technical check with such tires!
And for all that we paid 50€ (Toyota Cabrio, not new). OUTRAGEOUS! The company isn't answering, the owner just said he will take that into account.
