I ordered several tops online from Fairweather. I assumed since it was a Canadian company the clothing would be better quality. I couldn't have been more wrong. Cheap material poorly sewn. I returned the clothing by Canada Post. It cost me almost 24$. Plus a 9.99$ restocking fee. I have bought a great deal of clothing online from different companies and never had a problem with returns until now. This is the first and last time I order from Fairweather. The return package arrived at it's destination 4 days ago. I'm still trying to get my money back. I should have done my due diligence!!

I received my order from Fairweather today. I did buy these items on sale but I was very disappointed in the quality of the clothing! I would never pay full price for these items. Very disappointed .

Purchased a jacket online that was $499 on sale for $149. They told me 2-6 days shipping. It took over a month. The customer service is non existent. Just bots and automatic replies from their site. No phone number. No people to talk to. The first time I wore the coat the snao came completely off and the second time the seam ripped. Horrible quality. Horrible customer service. I was told I could ship it back for a refund but how many months will it take for you to get it and then how long for my refund if you even give me one in the end which I dont trust you would. I had to pay 50 dollars to a tailor to fix my $500 coat after wearing it only twice. Do not buy!!

I shopped at Fairweather in the early 80's and they had better quality clothing and better designed back then. I still remember the beautiful burgundy wool coat with knit sleeves. I decided to check to see if Fairweather still exists as I would like to buy a coat. So I saw they do and on their website I saw the most cheapest looking clothing ever with ugly mannequins. For a minute I thought I was on the wrong website. Only one dress might be acceptable that was the vintage one but it looks like it might be made of flimsy material. Most of the dresses look too short or the mannequins are too tall. The choices are no good and they all look like mass produced rags. I think it's because the company was sold a long time ago. This is why I am giving 1 star. They should go back to the old way when their clothing was nicer and better quality.

$400+ winter coat fell apart after wearing it twice. The seams going around the back of the shoulder and downwards to became non existent somehow. And no, it’s not too tight. I should have returned it but had a seamstress in my town fix it for a decent price.

Shipping: Surprisingly fast. My order landed just days after I hit “checkout.”

Prices: Ridiculously low. I paid $30 for a dress “valued” at $90. Sounded too good to be true—and it was.

Quality: Awful. The so-called $90 dress had a hole in it, and the fabric felt like glorified tissue paper. That “discount” is just smoke and mirrors.

Returns: Misleading. They claim you can return in-store—nope. No barcode on the receipt = no refund. After arguing, I was allowed to exchange item for item, but couldn’t find anything I liked. Settled for men’s shorts that cost less. So yes, I lost money. Sure, I could’ve returned online—at my own expense. No thanks.

Verdict: Cheap clothes, cheap tactics, non-existent customer service. If you’re strapped for cash, it’s a tempting option, but I’d rather save up and support local stores that respect their customers.

Their return process for online orders is so bad. I will never buy online again.

Definitely buyer beware!! Placed an order online. Just arrived. What a HUGE disappointment. A complete waste of money.

Their policies are ludicrous. Their return, refund and exchange policies are criminal. You have to pay for return shipping and they even charge a restocking fee.

Their clothing is cheaply and poorly made, sizing is ridiculous and the fabrics are awful. Not worth even the sale price. Will never buy from them again.

If I could give these people zero stars, I would. Two years ago, I bought a winter parka. Within 3 months, the zipper broke. Since it was the end of winter, I packed the parka away. At the start of the next winter, I emailed them to complain about the broken zipper. They said it was too late to do anything about it. I loved the parka so much, and I thought the rotten zipper was a one off, so I ordered another one. I was obviously stupid because the zipper on the second parka broke. Again, nothing they could do about it. I will NEVER buy anything from them anymore and I suggest that people stay away from them as well.

Service to customers is really really bad

All the companies I order from offer a "return to store" for a refund; with Fairweather, you get a store credit. This is unacceptable. Return shipping cost me $35.34. I will not order from this store again.

The poor quality of the jacket is anecceptable ,there are missing filing and too much in some places,this jacket should not be sold it is not wearable.

It was my first experience with your company and it will surely by my last.

Clothing came apart first wear. Daughter didn’t wear right away since we bought the pants for an event so when we were 2 days from a month, i wrote fairweather describing issue but they would not honour refund. They claimed damaged clothing had to be reported within 48 hours of receipt so did’t matter if i could’ve returned within a month or not. Literally the metal ring where the waist drawstring is fell off first wear and the material started disintegrating from there. I was happy to get the pants on sale but $35 for one wear is out of my budget these days. Disappointed!!

I ordered 2 dresses online. Once they arrived the quality was terrible. Very cheap material. I decided to return both dresses. I had to pay $16 in shipping and Fairweather is going to also deduct $7 from my refund. Don't waste your money! Awful quality and refund process. Never again!

Poor quality for a big price tag… I paid almost $200 for a winter jacket that is falling apart after a single wear..I would like my money back.. I feel like I’ve been scammed.

First and last time customer, they have the worst customer service and seem like they don't even know what they are doing!! I ordered a duplicate of item by accident and asked that they cancel one of the items. This sounds simple...right...NOPE they said they cannot do that as they process orders very quickly etc etc. Took 13 emails back and forth over 3 days and guess what during this time the items I ordered were no longer in stock!!! So not only did I just want to cancel one of the items I am not going to get anything now. Their advice to me check back regularly and maybe we get it back in stock...seriously!! So now I will get half my order and then I will have to wait for the matching pants but will have to pay again for shipping. I would NEVER order or deal with this company again!!!

I haven't shopped at Fairweather in years. I lost weight and my current store styles are too big.
I did an online order of 7 items that I knew were made of polyester.
the online store shows beautiful colours and patterns and did not disappoint but the material was old style polyester, thick and heavy. Price for the items was reasonable so I am not entirely disappointed.
One item was beautiful slacks in light pink, couldn't tell on the online but once I received them my husband told me they were see through! oops. sometimes shopping in person has its advantages!
Not totally disappointed, as i bought the items on sale, but the quality is lacking.
I will shop again but I will be wary.

Paid $300 for an order of clothing and everything was complete junk. Not to mention the terrible workmanship of several items. I have reached out several times and no one has answered. In the process of doing a chargeback now.

There are no wheelchair accessible change rooms. How very discriminatory.

The online experience for fairweather is the worst i have ever had

I purchased 2 items .. one was ill fitting, the other was damaged

On their website it states that for a damaged item they will send a label for return

I made repeated attempts to receive said label .. no responses .. so I just paid to ship it back

It was received by them on July 20th ... it is now august 22nd and I have not gotten an email or receive my refund "for defective merchandise that i no longer eve have and paid to ship back" ... so in essence it actually cost me to shop there

There is no phone number to call and actually speak to a human being

I am so disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience with fairweather ... i will NEVER spend another dime with them and will deter anyone i know from doing the same ...
