Very quick and professional service

Very quick and professional service. The problem was identified promptly and solution provided the next day with new parts replaced. A full explanation was provided, details of what needs to be fixed discussed so that you know what you’re paying for. Timing was excellent and the technician polite, knowledgable and helpful. Very happy with the service.

Highly recommended

We had been with British Gas for over ten years and had been happy with them but recently, they hiked up their price and also the waiting time, which made life a bit painful if your boiler is down and they cannot come to you until 5 days later!

Booked online with Fairfix at 710am and got a call at 10am to discuss the timing of visit. Tye came on the same day to check the problem, and then sorted out the initial problem the very next day. Unfortunately, the boiler started leaking that night, so we contacted Fairfix and again the response was swift. Tye called me the next morning and ascertained that the PCB was not working properly, so a new one was installed on the 3rd day.

All of these are charged at £149 (plus material) as promised online (compared to £299 minimal from British Gas) and nothing extra. Tye was professional, knowledgeable and very respectful to our property and kept social distance. We would have no problems recommend them to all of our friends.

Very prompt and efficient service

Very prompt and efficient service. Booked the appointment in the morning, engineer was there in the afternoon and had identified the problem within half an hour, then came back the next day with the required part and completed the repair.

Mustafa was an absolute star

I am very impressed with the service of…

I am very impressed with the service of this company. We have been let down many times by trades people, but not this time. Communications was excellent, Tyrone arrived promptly, assessed the problem, got the part and fixed it!
What more can you ask for?
Lovely man to deal with would definitely use again and recommend.

Great service

Great service. I was able to book someone to come out in only a couple of hours without costing the earth. From my description he was able to go and get the parts needed before arriving so the job was done really quickly. Fixed price + parts made the whole thing very reasonable.

Boiler was fixed on second visit with a…

Boiler was fixed on second visit with a new part costing £212. but same problem occurred two days later further two visits were made but no success. I was told another part called pcp is needed costing £350 but no guarantee that Boiler would work and no free further visit. Very disappointed.

Hi Javad I’ve looked into your particular job and I can see you on our initial visit we replaced your ignition electrode and this got the boiler working for several days for you, we then came out again and could not find any problem with your boiler as it was working perfectly.
We then came out again because you reported the issue yet again. the engineer checked the system and boiler thoroughly and believes there is an intermittent fault with your PCB which controls the ignition and all components on your boiler.
Due to the nature of your intermittent problem it is impossible to say with any certainty is that it is definitely the PCB that is why the engineer recommended you wait until the problem becomes more frequent so we can identify the problem completely and replace the PCB for you and and that would be your last free callout visit as we only allow three visits per booking.
If the problem does become more persistent you still have your last free visit for us to attend and replace the PCB for you, and you just need to cover the cost of the PCB for your boiler.
The initial repair was a total a of £212 that was including your parts.

The cost of your new PCB is £144.00 not sure where you were getting £350 from???

Excellent service

Excellent service. Andreas came bang on time, diagnosed the fault quickly, went away to get a replacement for the defective part of our boiler that had failed and then came back the following morning to fix it. All done with minimum fuss and maximum politeness and informativeness.
