Fantastic service from the team.
The panels have been working well and am extremley satisifed withthe outcome.

HERES THE ISSUE - I tried calling them today as I was needing some certificates and wanted to buy an extra battery.

Seems as though they have gone bust and cant get hold of them. The Solar Panel market does seem to be full of quite a few rogue traders

I had my solar panels fit in on 25th of April 2024 and currently functioning well so far. I did not get the DNO/G98 certificate which a certificate requires applying to the National Grid by the installer and send back to me. I tried different ways to get hold of one of the company's representative via emails, that bounced back, and calls which didn't not go through. I managed to apply myself to the Grid but again I faced with another challenge of needing a Battery Schematics from the installer(DSF company) to apply for the SEG to my energy supplier.
Now I do not know who I need to call to resolve this issue and who is going to sort out if the system goes faulty.

Emails bounce and phones aren't answered. Must have gone under :(

Got my setup installed but it doesn't work properly and no idea how to get support now!

Not answering phone calls. Appear to probably have ceased trading?

I have just tried to get hold of them as have a partial installation and they have my money. Emails returned undelivered, phone not answered as went to an engaged tone etc. Will explore other options as they appear to still be operational, if only in name on Companies House. I have done a bit of digging through the web etc and do not hold out much hope, so contacted my credit company and have started a Section 75 for recovery of some funds against DFS Solar

Looks as though they have ceased trading at least under their current guise.
Day after install and payment they moved offices.
Will not answer calls or emails.
At least we got it installed.

DFS are not reachable anymore!! Emails and phone calls remain unanswered. I paid deposit in Feb and still awaiting installation. I'd urge customers like me to be cautious if they are planning to use them!

Absolutely Brilliant Company. Did absolutely everything right for us including locating the right solar panels (which were not easy to get hold of) and fitting our system exactly how we wanted it . All the team were fantastic from start to finish. Initial discussions with Alan Shield to in depth organization from Brad Williamson to the whole fitting team and roofer.

The Dual Fuel Team explained the best possible solution for our 3-bedroom house. 6 Solar Panels on west west-facing roof & 4 on the east-facing. The Installation was straightforward, with the team advising on the location of the inverter and batteries.
The system is running well and we are exporting energy to the grid, using Octopus Energy Outgoing 12M fixed and Agile import (download of cheap electricity (off peak) Very happy with the service from Dual Fuel. the reason it's not 5 stars, there was a delay in installing the bird protection.

After getting many quotes for a few local companies and nationals I decided to go with DFS, their quote was competitive, and they had good reviews. The work has now been completed and I am very pleased with the results, the team were patient whilst I made amendments to the order and Chris did a neat job fitting all the wiring and equipment under my stairs, I would highly recommend DFS.

My solar panels were installed 3 months ago. There was a small hitch in the planning process which was put right very quickly. All of the staff who gave advice and discussed the best positioning and number of panels were pleasant, patient and easy to talk to. The installation team were efficient and did the job with minimal inconvenience to me. They went out of their way to fit an extra panel which had to be ordered and they returned the following day to fit it. Staff were happy to help with the few questions I had after the installation. I’m a happy customer!

The team was great from start to finish and they delivered as they had promised in the sales process. I appreciate the work they carried out at our home.

We have recently (November /December 2023) had Solar panels fitted. The information received prior to the installation was clear and easily understood, and the Salesman was really helpful and patient answering our numerous ongoing questions. We chose them because of their competitive rates and past reviews and have no regrets. The guys who physically installed the panels came back at our request to install extra panels two days later and worked like proverbial Trojans to complete the work in the fading light. I would have no qualms in recommending them no others.

Contacted 6 companies to get quotes DUAL FUEL were very helpful and very competitive price wise accepted their quote, the work was carried out as arranged by very professional guys all installed as required also came back and fitted 4 extra panels as requested.
They were pleasant, helpful and informative the paper work arrived quickly HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

Excellent service from initial enquiry through to site survey, design and installation - all completed within six weeks. Super helpful staff focused on providing first class customer experience. Installation team highly professional and worked to exacting standards. Customer service team walked me through the monitoring system and answered all my questions as I familiarised myself with system to ensure settings optimised. First week system is performing very well. Highly recommended.

Very quick response from my initial inquiry, it took a little time to get a quote for a system that would function in the way I was envisaging, which was a departure from a "standard" installation.
The installation was carried out efficiently with only a few minor snags regarding incorrect supplies. The biggest issue with the process was created while installing the final unit in the system. Incorrect information was given to the engineer by the manufacturer of the inverter, which the engineer did question several times, but the problems were not evident due to a firmware upgrade that had been started. it did take a couple of phone calls to get the engineer booked to return to sort out the problems in the settings the inverter manufacturer had set up.
The premises was always left tidy after each visit, good standard of workmanship, communications were sometimes a little lacking, having said that I would be happy to use the company again.

Duel fuel Solutions were absolutely fantastic when fitting our Solar panels. We were given updates on how the job was going from start to finish, the men worked very well and we're very clean and professional at all times, we can't thank them enough. I would definitely recommend this company.

Very pleased with the outcome, I was apprehensive at first about installing solar panels due to the price. Dual Solutions offered me a price which was very competitive with other companies, so I went with them, there installation team where very professional I would definitely recommend Dual Solutions to fit solar panels.

Dual Fuel Solutions came recommended by a neighbour. I watched his install and the team was quick and efficient; his array looks sleek and professional. We had both gotten estimates from several places, and none could beat Dual Fuel.

I was pleased with how quick Marion was to arrange an evaluation of my property and how Brad worked with me to make sure I got the most out of the space I had. Then during the install and just after, Jake and Jordan also stepped in to answer questions and sort various details out. From initial enquiry to final install was only about three weeks!

On the install, the lads (Harry, Taylor, and Connor--hope I got all three right!) accidentally scratched my swirled resin garage floor when sliding the heavy battery and inverter boxes across it. Turns out we all learned the floor is not as tough as it looks! Accidents happen, but they made it right, and that is the important thing that I wanted to share.

Connor was able to adjust the panel installation from the original design to create a sleeker layout that got me one extra panel beyond what I thought I'd end up with. It looks great. Harry and Taylor got the system hooked up and they set me up on the app to monitor my battery. I must say that I have become a junkie. I'm learning how and where I am using electricity and how to maximise being off-grid. It definitely is a lifestyle switch--and a worthwhile one for the environment.
