I have booked a couple of times

I have booked a couple of times. On both occasions the driver let me know he was on his way and turned up about 15 minutes before booked time. Very pleased with the friendliness of the drivers and the comfort of the cabs.

Plan and Communication

The company rang me 15 minutes before my taxi was due to say it was going to be 5 - 10 minutes late. I booked my taxi half hour earlier than needed because I like to plan well. Apply this strategy and take into consideration this company communicated with me on the slight lateness what more can you ask for. My experience with them was a good one.

Cancelled my ride even when booked months in advance

I pre-booked ride for five people with three large suitcases was canceled by the company just 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, leaving us to find an alternative. I have booked this months in advance. I have used this company many times to Southampton Airport Parkway, but I will take my business elsewhere. DO NOT use Cab My Ride for any important transfers.

Unacceptable service

Have used this taxi company for years, when if was Millers.
Normally reliable and friendly drivers.
However, booked it for the train station for 1315 as didn't want to risk an Uber even though it was much cheaper.
The driver called at 1315, but I couldn't get to the phone in time. The cab was not outside and I had the door open. I called straight back but at 1316 I had a message to say Coco had cancelled it! The office said he had waited, but he did not turn up then went home at 1316! They could not send another until 45 minutes later. We missed out train and so missed our event. I will not be using them again.

AVOID!

Booked two taxis for a group of six. Both arrived on time, but despite my husband personally speaking to one of the drivers to say we’d be out in a few minutes, both vehicles drove off before we could get in.

We were then charged in full for both 'no-show' bookings, even though we made contact and were just moments away. Despite Cab My Ride (also trading as Aryvo) taking over a week to 'look into' the matter they refused a refund, claiming no contact was made — which is simply not true.

Based on this experience, I won’t be using Cab My Ride/Aryvo again, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious where they hold your credit card details and can charge what they like.

To clarify, your group was charged for five bookings in total on the evening of Saturday 3rd May. Two of those vehicles arrived on time at 10:15pm as scheduled and waited at the pickup location. However, no contact was made, and no passengers approached the vehicles. As a result, both were marked as no-shows, incurring 100% cancellation charge after the standard waiting period.

While we appreciate that you rebooked shortly after, those subsequent journeys were fulfilled by a different driver under new bookings. The no-show charges for the original two vehicles remain valid, as the drivers were on-site, incurred waiting time and fuel costs, and were not utilised due to the group not presenting at the correct time.

We do understand this may not have been your intention, but from an operational standpoint, the service was provided as booked, and the drivers do need to be compensated for their time and fuel in these cases.

I am sorry our response cannot be more favorable to you, but we trust this provides clarity on why the original bookings were charged.

Easy to use & Great Customer Service

Arvyo were great and simple to use. Driver called me multiple times to confirm he was arriving.
Had an issue with payment but after speaking with Cecilia from Customer Support who was very helpful, it all got sorted in the end. Will recommend and use Arvyo again!

This taxi company never disappoint.

This taxi company never disappoint.
First of all the various people that manage the phones are so lovely and polite! I had to change my taxi time twice due to an issue on my train and it was no bother at all. They were also really informative as there had been an accident on the m27 and explained my driver may take longer then expected. I simply wouldn’t use any other taxi company so thank you so much!!
