As with Middlemarch, I loved Wanda McCadden‘s depths of reading and interpreting, and how well these interpretations were conveyed in her voicings. As for the book, it is also very deep, very exciting, very edifying, I could not wait to get back into my car and drive home from work and listen to it.

They have a scam going where when you buy a book they make you sign up for some kind of monthly membership that you may not notice. Afterwards they refuse to refund you and keep charging you 10 dollars a month until you figure out how to cancel it.

I have emailed and tried to unsubscribe. Very sneaky how the site doesn’t allow you to even search how to unsubscribe.

Often businesses providing services on ‘books for listening’ have similar names. I wrote to Audio Book Store and Tarah was very helpful as a Customer Service Officer. She, is a fantastic worker and loyal employee, who makes the difference among all providers. She is the kind of employee that deserves recognition and should be given opportunities for professional growth as she enhances the name of the organisation who has employed her. Thank you Tarah!

I bought an audiobook using my credit card. Since then, Audiobookstore has kept my credit card information on file in my account. I have asked them multiple times via email and chat to tell me how to remove it and have not had any response. Audiobookstore did not ask my permission to store my credit card information. I will not be buying anything else from this company.

Update: I contacted the company. They apologized and said that my credit card information has been removed from their site. They did not give me an adequate reason as to why I only heard from them once I wrote a negative review on Trustpilot. They did not respond when I asked them why they stored my credit card without permission or tell me why I couldn't remove it myself.

I bought an Audiobook from Audiobookstoe and was somehow signed up for their Flexpass. I've cancelled my subscription but it lasts for a year by which time I will have spent £100 on absolutely nothing. Seems to be a massive scam.

Excellent experience with the purchase and the downloading went smoothly.The company were really helpful to me when I wanted to make changes to how I had signed up. A special shout out for Tarah who went out of her way to be helpful.

Scammers. Silent subscription was enabled without any consent, without any notification. No email, nor description regarding monthly cost. Unfortunately, I have noticed after multiple months. Please be aware and not use their services.

As many here say they sneakliy sign you up for subscription when purchasing one book.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt and sent an email querying the monthly costs but no response at all.

Stay away from this company. One book ended up costing me a load of money.

Scammers, they sign you automatically for subscription without your knowledge, no matter what payment option you choose. I made a single payment for the audiobook. I paid full price and I did not choose any flexipass or any other subscription. Then accidentally I discovered on my bank account that I have some subscription for 20$ (the same like cost of the book). I contacted audiobookstore support and they assured me that I didn't have any subscription and my bank registered it as a subscription by mistake. Then I contacted my bank, described situation and my bank said that it was 100% subscription and they could charge me again. I was advised to block all payments to audiobookstore. Now, after i read all the opinions I see this is their common pactice.

WARNING !!! They charged me several months for one book - I only noticed on my cc bill - awful app - be careful what you sign up for. I have not found any email confirming a subscription sign up for example which is very deceiving

I have been utilizing the Audiobookstore.com platform for a number of years and enjoyed the vast selection and great prices on audio books.
I recently made an accidental purchase (wrong language) and Tarah was able to quickly help me solve the issue, so I could get back to listening. Great service!

Audible is a juggernaut, everyone knows this. I found Audio Book Store, not because I was looking for an alternative to Audible, but because many of my favorite titles aren't available from them. I assumed that meant that they weren't available in audiobook form, but on Reddit one day I noticed someone say that they enjoyed the audio version of The Godwulf Manuscipt by Robert B Parker. Curious, I tried to find it as a torrent, but was unable to. After several fruitless searches, I simply googled "The Godwulf Manuscript audiobook" and that's how I found Audiobookstore.com
They have all the titles I've been unable to find on Audible, in a similar quality, available through an app that works on Apple CarPlay. I'm very pleased with my experience so far and plan to continue to frequent their library.

Easy to use great access to audio books. Will continue to use their services 👌🏻😀
